    4th book i've read of him..this one is very different from his other works..i like him but not dying for..if you like mysteries i will suggestion you Sophie Hanna and her books about HP..

    606 pages read. Good but nothing special. New characters and what exactly lead to the assassination just revealed. 110 pages left.

    I’m a big King fan, but I liked this book. You are right about nothing special, but I found it very enjoyable as well. An interesting tidbit in the book did huge King fans.

    There’s something special! Less than ten pages before the end: King / his main character Billy Summers recommends Cormac McCarthy’s book Blood Meridian 👍 - a personal top favorite of mine.

    This is a book King fans might want to grab.  King wrote the introduction, but none of the stories.  34 short stories by different authors, all taking place in King's The Stand. Almost 800 pages. The stories are not about the characters in the book, although some are mentioned.  It's broken into sections.

    1) Down With the Sickness - stories take place during the 2-3 week plague when everything is falling apart. This is half the book.
    2) The Long Walk - stories take place during the trek to either Boulder or Las Vegas, depending on the character's persuasion.
    3) Life Was Such a Wheel - stories that happen after the book has ended, in the aftermath.
    4) Other Worlds Than These - only 2 stories here. In The Dark Tower series, the characters went through a portal into the world of The Stand, I am assuming it is something up that alley.

    Just finished Watershed by Percival Everett. Really enjoyed it!! 

    Before this one, I read Telephone by the same author and it was awesome.

    Read through the Slow Horses series and I am currently reading the Dept. Q series, both made into TV series. 

    Both book series are great as well as the TV series. 

    I can't wait to see them tackle the twist in Dept. Q when it hits TV.

    Loved both of these shows. Can’t wait for season 2 of Q. Will check out some of the books now.
