It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years.URthekey said:OMG the Canadian tour boots this weekend are killer! It was a good era in the PJ catalog. As I parked the car at the arena lot prior to the ‘05 London show and began to walk across to the gates I never expected to see Ed walking up the loading dock ramp to ask the few of us there what we wanted to hear that night. I also didn’t expect my request for BRY to be played. This was 2005…can’t imagine that happening today. To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If Ed ever asked me what I wanted them to play I’m pretty sure I’d just freeze, my brain would go numb and I wouldn’t be able to think of a single song. A total deer in the headlights….
So good on both of you for solid decision making under pressure!
I caught Halifax and St. Johns x 2 on the ‘05 Canadian tour. That Halifax show is in my top 10 of all time. This was the 1st show I had gotten tix on my own 10C account and it put me 11th row right in front of Stone. He tossed me a ‘Lucky Lucas’ pick after Glorified G, and I met Mike walking around town the next day.

I went squee internally but my instincts kicked in and made the request. I'm sure in a similar situation you'll be fine! Trust your instincts (unless they tell you to ask for Last Kiss).URthekey said:If Ed ever asked me what I wanted them to play I’m pretty sure I’d just freeze, my brain would go numb and I wouldn’t be able to think of a single song. Of course from the stage but perhaps no longer while roaming outside of the venue day of show.Shaindli1 said:

Wonderful news! Thank you for lifting as you climb. Perhaps one day the band will play in NH. Can you work on that next? Guilford is a gem.31x
