yeah i am not a fan either. i don't like how peoples' posts and signatures seem to run in to each other. also the font is weird and i would prefer a dark mode option, as well as what others have suggested about having a link to the top.

also, why does it take so long for a page to load now? i have speedy internet and this forum is the slowest loading page on the internet it seems.

This just looks so much less dated than the old format. It really looks good.

Of course I grew up on vbullitan forums, so I’m used to this (similar) layout

Unnecessary. There was nothing wrong. Please revert. It’s awful

    Totally agree (obviously, lol) Nick.

Beside being an awful format, this page loads much more slowly now.

Sorry 10C, I think we're going in reverse here.

The biggest issue is on desktop. Signatures being same sized text and looks like part of the post, Will try the zooming out but way to big. Mobile I have less issues.

Good suggestion, but I just tries zooming out.  It helps a little but there still way to much space between posts and you have to scroll like crazy to see what comes before the most recent post.

Another issue I just noticed.  When I close out this page, and then come back, instead of going to when I left off (like the above post), I end up back on page one.  Seriously, this thing is a LEMON!

Paying good money for degraded product is not something anyone wants.

10C, I can't recommend strongly enough reverting back to what worked better.  Seriously.

I like the new Forum format.
It's good to challenge one's brain to learn new things, though it may not seem that way at the time.
Yes, I am getting old and gray, like most of us here, but my brain is still young and supple.
Thank you 10c, for keeping things interesting!

Maybe you should give it a couple of days Brian. This seems like a pretty severe knee-jerk reaction. Changes like this can seem big at first, but experience tells me that it doesn't take long at all to settle in to them, and then you forget why it bothered you so much.

I'm not finding that at all. It's really zippy for me.

Yeah, you could be right.  I know darned well all the bitching in the world will not make any difference.  But at the very least, I hope they work out some of the glitches (I've mention a few already in just the first few days.)

I'm also feeling very cranky lately as I have been diagnosed with IBD which includes things like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, but I have not received a full diagnosis yet (I'll find out more in September).  Mike McCready has had Crohn's for many years and yet has kept going strong.  Honestly, I don't know how he does it.  The man is a ROCK!
