Crazy! Just getting through my 3rd re watch. It gets better (and funnier) every time.

Sopranos documentary is out soon. Can't wait for that.

    Did this happen?

Every rewatch you pick up different things. I've rewatched at least 10 times and recently when I do so I read the episode recaps on sopranos autopsy:  https://sopranosautopsy.com/

Breaking Bad was more entertaining when I look at the entire series.

I lost interest in the Sopranos after season 3.

    You should rewatch...great series

I still struggle with whether BB or Better Call Saul was the better series.

Still haven't watched The Wire which is consistently rated as high or higher than Sopranos

The writing after season 3 seemed to go down hill. I found the entire "Vito" saga to just be non-believable, and just dreadful. I would watch some episodes later in the series, and then miss some, not really caring if I got caught up.

out of all the seasons after season 3, season five is the best with the introduction of the various New York characters. Season 4 is slow when you watch the first few times but upon subsequent rewatches you realize how it sets up a lot of things for season 5, especially the power struggle in New York.

My favorite show of all time, and the best show of all time, IMO.

My brother & 2 buddies did a group re-watch last year, and we were supposed to go on a DIY Sopranos tour (Bada Bing/Satin Dolls, Tony's house, Holsten's). Might have to do it all over again lol.

I invent conversations between Tony & Christopher all the time lol, like when Drea De Matteo talked about doing Only Fans last year:

C - "I don't know T. She sells fans and pictures of her feet or something. She made like fifty large in two days."

T - "Jesus Christ Christufuh what the fuck? I just put a ceiling fan in A.J.'s room last week, cost me $500."
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

Breaking Bad was amazing the 1st time, but IMO it doesn’t hold up as well as the Sopranos under repeat viewings.

    BCS > BB IMO

    The Wire is f’ing fantastic

I actually agree. I would’ve disagreed before my second and third rewatch of sopranos. I actually tried to rewatch BB and started skipping around to specific episodes. Not saying it wasn’t fantastic but I think you nailed it. Haven’t had a second viewing of BCS but that was right up there. Curious to see how I feel during a rewatch. I think enough time has passed.

I couldnt wait to watch the next episode of Breaking Bad after finishing an episode.

I skipped an entire season, maybe 2, of The Sopranos.

Its tough, but BCS might be a better overall show.  They hit a pacing in the last few season of BB and continued their stride through BCS.

BCS covered what is possibly the best and most intricate revenge story ever told.  Jimmy's character arc is also marvelous.

I consider them the same show.

As far as the sopranos go.  I was always an "overrated" guy.  However, I watched the 1st episode last Sunday and thought it was terrific.  I think the show will land better with my 47 year old self with a family as opposed to in my 20s when I wanted action.

I think i am going to try to watch an episode every Sunday (I don't like binging a show) and see how that flies.  There are many episodes I didn't see.
