A move I do not quite understand. Must be about money.
I was reading that ownership shifted last month so that the Thai owners aren't the majority shareholders anymore, they're the ones that protected Horner during the "scandals", so could have something to do with the group that wanted him gone finally had the power to do so. But certainly doesn't look good for the team.
Who knows what is true. I read that it was to appease Max and his father and to try to get him not to jump ship to Merc. Could be somewhat true or total BS.

You are right about that. We will never know the true details. How do you dismiss one of the top F1 principals in the middle of the season? I am scratching my head. Merc will not pay what Ferrari paid for Lewis. Must be Flavio.
It would be nice if they just cleaned house and got rid of Marko while they're at it.
I think that guy is in his 80s. What could he be adding? Maybe finances or sponsors? Horner made that team what it is in terms of performance. His numbers are on, or even exceeding, the level of Ron Dennis. There must be more to the story. I do not buy the Verstappen conspiracy theories. Something else led to his firing IMHO. Without actually knowing anything. It is F1, and it usually comes down to money. Flavio to be named new Red Bull Principal.

Could well be. I am not sure what Marko brings to the table besides his mouth.
