Nothing will change until democrats become a party that can win back the senate. Nothing over this weekend made it appear as if the party has a clue how to accomplish that. If anything, the turnout by location demonstrates the party is more regional than ever before.

I am stunned he was over 50% approval rating on immigration policies last week.
but the point is not to put people down, not to call American idiots, like most of the comments after that post, not to scream and yell what a tyrant he is.
The whole point of this is to reach the moderate voters, to win future elections, especially the senate. Because the only way to change the Supreme Court is to win the Senate
It's not about running more ads or having Ultra liberals like AOC run to Utah and give a speech.
It's about examining how Democratic ideas are turning off voters. For example they lost young white men by a sizeable margin, a demo that was theirs for years. That demographic probably bears the brunt of the DEI policies. If companies hire more women and people of color, what demographic is going to get hurt by that? It's so obvious it's stunning Democrats don't see this
I doubt the Democrats have any clue
Why have Democrats lost touch with so many different demographic groups? Latino also. That's the problem. There are swaths of voters who do not relate specifically to Democrats anymore, as a result of their recent transformation. And all we can do is complain about the king and same old political jargon.
Why do you think moving to the middle (and being ok with a little bit more fascism) is better than appealing towards those individuals that Dems lost by offering policies that would appeal to them?
I think giving left voters Israel vs. Israel hurt the Dems much more than not meeting fascism in the middle.

Also, it’s not DEI. It’s increased cost of living, it’s increased cost of healthcare. It’s increased cost of housing. it’s the cost of college. It’s all about increased cost in everything. That’s what drove the white men away.

you are telling me the voter in question was aged 17-21 during the trump first term so they couldn't vote. that doesn't mean that during those ages they did not witness trump tank the economy and get impeached twice and then a few years later say "yeah i want some more of that."

This celebratory parade for the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary was anything but a waste of taxpayer dollars. Besides showing our nation's respect and thankfulness for our Army, the parade also functioned as a recruitment event. Whether or not you like it, a strong military makes it less likely - not more - that we stay out of future conflicts. This proven theory is called "Peace through strength".
Our Army failed to reach recruitment goals over the last number of years but now, with President Trump back in the public eye, young people are once again enthusiastic about joining the Army. In fact, recruitment quotas for fiscal 2025 were reached 4 months in advance!
So, to paraphrase (loosely) The Who: "I'd call that a bargain. The best we've ever had."
