Imagine being able to buy that Tee when you can't get to a show or you really love that poster but you live in a different country but you can still order it. It would be the Best. No more asking ppl if anyone has a spare, you can just purchase.pjl44 said:
It would need to be much easier to get Ten Club tickets for me to endorse. Double whammy if you get shut out in the lottery, know you have to scrap for tickets, then watch everyone else having merch shipped to their door, too.inmyrvm said:
Only open to ten club ticket holders, problem easily solvedSkipNiklas said:And the limited items would sell out in .001 seconds to the fastest bots. No thank you.

Getting shut out on tickets means you get no merch either. Haha

But everyone had another way another chance of getting Merch besides standing in a Merch Line which isn't always possible like Online maybe the flippers and scammers wont be as busy.Merkin Baller said:
Yup.pjl44 said:
Yeah it is often discussed as if it's some external issue but baby it's the guys standing next to you at the showMerkin Baller said:
Which brings us back to flippers & bots....ZoSoTim said:
Being a 10C member should be enough.pjl44 said:

No matter what system they implement, there will always be people scamming. It's inevitable. Same w/ the tickets.0 -
Maybe not, but I still don't think there's enough motivation for them to change things up at this point.aus_suz said:
I don't think they would need to Expand their 10c Operation unless they decide to do it from there.Merkin Baller said:I don't think there's nearly enough motivation for the band to change things up from this current model.
Expanding the 10C operation & adding to the warehouse staff probably isn't something they're looking to do at this point in their existence.0 -
With more Fans and more collecting Posters to the Shows they attend they surely must have increased how many posters they have to sell than what they did 20 Yrs ago.nautical_disaster said:Question for the folks who are more knowledgeable about this than I am: Couldn't you double or triple the amount of tour posters, and if they don't sell out, continue to offer them on the pearl jam site like they do now? If they're worried about left over stock from increased production, just do a yearly xmas mystery poster bundle sale (or whatever)? That way the flippers would be pissed about their returns diminishing since the product is readily available, and everyone could get the posters they want for their collection.
I know at the recent Australian there definitely were more Posters Sold and Available than previously.
If you have 55K ppl at one show you would have to sell more than 300 which that's what use to be allocated per show.
I don't know why they don't let the Artist do print runs every now and again and the Artist makes the money not the flipper.
I never really understood why they can't. Maybe the poster art work becomes Pearl Jam's Property so they can't.0 -
We need to change that.. lolMerkin Baller said:

I don’t disagree, there is also something to be said about manufactured scarcity. It’s easy for people to get caught up in the thrill of the chase because it’s exclusive or limited, in turn driving demand. There is a sweet spot between over saturating the market and intentionally limiting supply to maintain interest and elevate perceived value.aus_suz said:Hawk123 said:They can clear out thousands of posters, shirts, stickers, buttons, tokens, dog leashes, skateboards, whatever else they decide in a couple hours - no picking, packing, shipping, lost packages, damaged posters. It’s just easier this way. Any leftovers get dumped in mystery boxes. Rinse and repeat every few years. It’s an efficient operation
Yeah but they could be selling more and they would.
People that are handling and shipping merch to the venues would now be shipping also to Fans directly.
It would be like a pop up shop online for the Tour Period.
Believe me it would be great!0 -
I've only gotten one show out of the last like 5 requests, so I get it, but it's better than nothing. In a perfect world make it all ticket holders, but I don't know how easy that is to dopjl44 said:

Yes you don't want the market to be overflooded but then it would be good to have a chance to get some Merch without having to pay high prices or miss out altogether.Hawk123 said:
