Yeah, it was exactly what I expected - way too long and far-fetched, and saved by the usual Cruise action - but I enjoyed it. They could’ve cut it down a bit, and the balance of the “talky” bits and the “stunt” bits was a little off, but it was a good popcorn event movie.
