aside from getting the old head dem leadership out of the way. that is the only thing i see they can do, but the old heads won't fuck off and go away. and then people will say the young dems are too extreme or are too young, or too inexperienced. or they can't vote for a woman, or whatever excuse they will make for themselves.

people with his attitude seem as if they would rather not vote and let the gop keep power. because not voting insures that that will happen.

It wasn’t “rigged”. WH and campaign Staffers wanted to keep their gravy train rolling. Yeah they should have dumped him earlier and the party did what it could with the time left. It wasn’t righing, it was as good of a recovery as possible. It just wasn’t enough combined with economic factors.

I think a lot of this was done because they were caught in a bad situation and thought they could lie their way out. Incorrectly.

Biden was elected, said he’d run once. Midway through the term, he ages quite visibly. Do they impeach him? ‘That’s a bad look, let him stay, we’ll shelter him and he’s got smart folks around him’
Some time passes.
‘Uh, guys, he wants to run for re-election anyways.’
’Well, if we don’t let the incumbent candidate run again, we’ll lose our advantage and people will stop believing the lie, which will tank our credibility and we’ll lose the election. What the hell do we do, guys?’
