Yep, she is in Italy and Im at home feeding my cats, and scooping cat litter.

My wife goes to Italy twice a year. She leaves me with my two favorite things: peace and quiet!

Rarely eat beef, but this Koobideh kabob is delish and my go-to for takeout. Got it last night w/a side of the strawberry, date, walnut, Gorgonzola salad 😋

    Is that Turkish?
Also grabbed some mystery chorizo from local Mexican market. Grilled them up and tossed with dirty water brown rice. Yo!

Persian (Iranian). But also a common Turkish dish. Your chorizo + rice looks tasty!

Inspired by my recent trip to Nashville, I decided to make some homemade banana pudding back home in the PNW.

Nice dishes in Italy. Never thought of gnocchi with mussels. Some reason I don't really like tomato sauce anymore. On pizza yes!

I used this recipe, but I was pretty liberal with the cookies. Didnt really bother with the layering. Just kinda mixed the bananas and Nilla Wafers in the bowl and then poured the custard over it. This was my first attempt and it came out really good, but next time I will probably use more than one tsp vanilla in the custard. Oh, and the topping was just something I came up with that I thought would be tasty with banana pudding. I crushed up some Nilla Wafers with walnuts and then toasted it all in a pan with butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
