That’s what I don’t get. The 2024 posters as a whole weren’t fantastic but there were plenty of good ones in there. Yet a bunch are still in the shop and thisntours which has been mostly trash (thank you Brad for a legendary poster) but they’re selling out immediately and are selling for astronomical prices on the secondary market. Quantities of all merch items must be way down this run.
My guess is because most concert poster collectors seem to be in the US, Canada, the U.K and Germany. You can also see this from all the FB collector groups, eBay transactions etc.

As a whole I think Australia/New Zealand had the best posters but they are all still available as there are simply fewer collectors in these countries. This is despite fantastic prints from Travis Price, Bella Grace, Ken Taylor etc. If these posters were for say a US or U.K. show they would have been gone within hours

I don't know how realistic this is, but why not sell merchandise inside the venue only, then open the booths up outside once the show starts and keep them open an hour or two after the show. This would give preference to ticket holders but still make it available to everyone.

It's the city specific stuff that's a problem.  Do a presale and a pickup even, that can't be hard.  Or ship it.  I know they did it before and supposedly had a ton of requests for refunds, but just make all sales final and that problem is solved.

Make pre-orders available for 10C members. Then they can walk up and grab their merch as they walk in. Everyone else can go through the current process. Seems pretty simple. I’ve been to plenty of shows lately where you can order through a website and then go pick up at the merch stand without having to wait in line.

Is that from the lost shipment? Those were green.

Inside only for concert-goers is much, much worse.

Unless they mail it the logistics would be a nightmare for the staff on site. Also there might be something in the contracts to not allow that in the first place. Since the sales are handled by the venues I'm sure they must get a cut somewhere. Live Nation does have a service where they mail out their VIP ticket package swag ahead of line. Ticketmaster all ready runs 10C (but not the store). They created a special business unit for it but I'm not looking to give them more of my money.

I’m telling you, other bands/venues already do a pre-order & pickup process. It’s easily doable. No shipping. Only pick up.

Make access to merch a 10c perk. We'll be able to grab a merch package when we come into the arena.
Or make stuff available at the shop.

Hate to say it but if someone bootlegged a high quality print of the Baltimore skate deck artwork, I would buy it.

Actually, outside merch is becoming more and more of a thing. A lot of the big bands do it now.

Most bands don’t have the merch demands that PJ does. The ones that do (Metallica. Stones, AC/DC, GNR) all offer outside merch.

If they only sold merch inside I am wondering about  all of the people who only buy merch to flip it.  Would you walk around all night with 5 shirts( all different sizes), 3 poster tubes ,2 skateboards and assorted other stuff all night  ??? And yes I have seen such types in MSG in the past but still most merch would end up in fans not flippers hands. just my opinion

Don’t talk yourself out of an end of the tour night 2 show. I drove 4.5 hours home the morning after ATL 2 and was online for work before lunch, exhausted but with a big smile on my face. Letting go of the need for to stand in line for merch this tour made things more enjoyable, though I snagged a few stickers post show. You probably won’t regret ever going to a PJ show, but I bet you’d regret missing one. Like Eddie sang in Raleigh, time is long and life is short, begin to live while you still can!
Thank you for the advice.  I listened and made the trip.  I left my house at 1:30 on Sunday afternoon and parked near the venue at 6:30. I got home around 4:50 on Monday morning.  I fed my dog, walked her, showered, and then left for a full day at work.  That may have been the longest stretch I've ever had without sleep- just shy of 40 hours.  I'm finally starting to feel normal again.  The drive and sleep deprivation wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The effort was well worth it.  I bought a soup can shirt and a couple of stickers off of Ebay yesterday, and I'm good now.  I just need a 5/18 token.  You are right, I would have definitely regretted not going.  I had the best time during my 5 show run- 2x Hollywood, 2x Raleigh, Pittsburgh N2.  The songs and energy at all of my shows made this a spectacular run for me.  They gave me my Setting Sun opener and a raging Last Exit during my GA show in Raleigh.  UNREAL.  It was a tremendous amount of fun for me at a time that I've needed it most.  30 years of live shows, 11 on this tour, and #51 with all of my kids.
Thank you so very much, Pearl Jam, for writing the soundtrack to my life.

In hindsight, I wish I had bought one of the trucker hats with the stripe. A good looking hat, and I guess I didnt realize I would'nt be able to purchase after the fact.
