I've bought a few bootleg shirts in the past but its been awhile and I have no idea about any of these.
But in my experience they are very cheaply made and some of the images have been ironed on and they stick to everything. The images are often offset and the shirts fit wierd. I know nothing about printing and thought this would be a great alternative but I hardly ever wear them because they are just not the same as the real deal. Do I recommend paying crazy ebay prices no but buyer beware.
Not true about the 2 shirts I bought from womyso site
The Melbourne shirt seemed to be holding up well. Newbie!
Lol... that one was real deal

I'm sure alot of people are in the same boat, but I didn't get any Pitt 2 show specific stuff because they sold out faster than they should have.
If anyone has extra jersey, poster, shirt, sticker or button that they want to part with, maybe we can make a deal.
The problem in Pittsburg was that not only did the 200 GA people get in before the doors opened, but the 250 or so people that bought LEXUS preshow entry tickets for $50 got in too (none of them stayed at the pre party they all went to the merch stands). If you were not 1st in line when doors opened and knew exactly where to run for the merch, you had no chance of getting any show specific items.

This was both nights in PGH (Pitt is the school, come on everyone.  If you did that in the city you're going to be sent to the wrong place.  The airport call sign is Pit).  I had not even 100 people in front of me in line on night one and easily should have gotten anything I wanted.  They ran out of posters a little more than halfway through.  May not have even had license plates.  Early sales are a problem.  The supplier didn't supply enough.  They easily could have sold at minimum another thousand of each.  There's ways to fix this, it's not that hard.

Exactly! It was really frustrating watching all of these people enter ahead of everyone else. Once I entered (on a prosthesis, so no running) it was like the merch was hidden and people were running around everywhere trying to find it. It was so disappointing not getting a poster so I paid $200 on eBay for one.

I’m no fan of bootleggers but if the band is going to put out merch in such small quantities then I’m OK with it. The band isn’t losing any money. Fans would rather get the official merch but if it’s impossible to get, what do you expect?

This.  I agree with this.  The only group of people losing money are the flippers.  I would rather support bootleggers than flippers.

I love that Pendleton poster. I wasn’t at Raleigh so I don’t need one. Since I have very limited wall space, I only really buy posters that I really like and fit my aesthetic in terms of hanging. The only posters I got this tour were the two in Pittsburgh. But that Pendleton definitely would have been a third had I gone.

100 percent agree.  This all seems pretty basic to me.  Figure out a way to have supply meet demand.  All we want is the ability to buy merch from the band we love.

The hockey jersey design on a t-shirt is very nice.  Very nice.

For the record, I am strongly opposed to bootlegged posters, however.

I am thinking about buying one of the rainbow shirts. My wife wanted one at the show, until she was told they were crop top shirts. She won't wear one, but the ones on that website are regular fit shirts.

The posters are a tough one to gauge production for as there are quite a few of 2024's sitting in the shop.
I know they're are different factors such as appeal, etc, but I understand the need for some limited runs on some items.

The show specific trinkets probably need a boost in production numbers, however.

That’s what I don’t get. The 2024 posters as a whole weren’t fantastic but there were plenty of good ones in there. Yet a bunch are still in the shop and thisntours which has been mostly trash (thank you Brad for a legendary poster) but they’re selling out immediately and are selling for astronomical prices on the secondary market. Quantities of all merch items must be way down this run.

My guess is because most concert poster collectors seem to be in the US, Canada, the U.K and Germany. You can also see this from all the FB collector groups, eBay transactions etc.

As a whole I think Australia/New Zealand had the best posters but they are all still available as there are simply fewer collectors in these countries. This is despite fantastic prints from Travis Price, Bella Grace, Ken Taylor etc. If these posters were for say a US or U.K. show they would have been gone within hours

I don't know how realistic this is, but why not sell merchandise inside the venue only, then open the booths up outside once the show starts and keep them open an hour or two after the show. This would give preference to ticket holders but still make it available to everyone.

It's the city specific stuff that's a problem.  Do a presale and a pickup even, that can't be hard.  Or ship it.  I know they did it before and supposedly had a ton of requests for refunds, but just make all sales final and that problem is solved.

Make pre-orders available for 10C members. Then they can walk up and grab their merch as they walk in. Everyone else can go through the current process. Seems pretty simple. I’ve been to plenty of shows lately where you can order through a website and then go pick up at the merch stand without having to wait in line.

Inside only for concert-goers is much, much worse.

Unless they mail it the logistics would be a nightmare for the staff on site. Also there might be something in the contracts to not allow that in the first place. Since the sales are handled by the venues I'm sure they must get a cut somewhere. Live Nation does have a service where they mail out their VIP ticket package swag ahead of line. Ticketmaster all ready runs 10C (but not the store). They created a special business unit for it but I'm not looking to give them more of my money.

I’m telling you, other bands/venues already do a pre-order & pickup process. It’s easily doable. No shipping. Only pick up.
