I witnessed an ace on this hole today. this is a stock photo. the pin was in the front today. look close….lower left, you’ll see a guy on the tee.

    What’s the distance and handicap?
112, 18. I guess anyone could do it!
Wob - if you hit up into the rough behind the green, does it roll back to the hole?

Probably not. The rough is always super long over there and it’s ridiculous right now because one of the two rough mowers has a snapped axle, so we are way behind.
Narrow green so not that easy a hole.

If PJ ever plays SLC again does Wob get us all a free 18? PJ course takeover!

I’d love to hook that up but it’s doubtful they ever play here again. Their last SLC show in 2009 came after an 11 year absence and filled about 2/3 of a 14,000 venue. I had to take a 5:00 am flight back to Vegas and go to work the following morning. Ugh. Great show, tho. Here’s a better pic of the ace hole. This is before phragmites took over the entire perimeter of the pond. I have cut down or burned down every single one but there is really no getting rid of them (at least not with our budget/manpower).

Last week I was up in Princeton and played TPC Jansa Polana. What a fun course. Shot an 81 but left plenty on the table. The layout is amazing and you can play most holes multiple ways. Huge replay value. It’s not that hard if you stay in position. But get a little wayward and you are throwing up a number.

Anyone else play it before? Highly recommended.
No but a guy I was with at the Phillies game the other day played jt last week and said it was incredible. Will need to get onto it. Clubhouse looks insane

What a year for golf thus far. Really nice to see the tv ratings up a good amount too. So much for all the "golf is in a bad spot" talk.

Headed to the Truist on Sunday. Hoping Rory will be towards the top of the leaderboard.

Was there Friday. Was fucking horrible with the weather. But if you get one of the bushmills cocktails you get this absolutely sick bucket hate cocktail stirrer.

I have a better than 50% shot of getting on cricket club this summer…especially with how bitter the members seem to be with the course getting wrecked

Well, my Tobacco Road, Pine Needles and Mid-Pines experience was rained out.  I did play Tobacco Road in the rain yesterday morning. The sand was mud consistency, and some of the holes were under water.  Still fun, but no point keeping score.  There is a short 110 yard par 3 on the front.  Came about as close as you can to a hole in one:

I read that Schefler’s 15 wins since his first are as many as Rory, Xander, Colin and punk ass JT combined.

He'll slump.  Everyone not named Tiger or Jack has, even after getting off to a great career start.

The only thing that slowed him down this year was slicing his hand open making ravioli!

Yeah but he’s still in his 20s.
