Dreams slip away,... ...last night I had a beautiful, drunken kiss
I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef Animals were hiding behind the Coral Except for little Turtle I could swear he's trying to talk to me Gurgle Gurgle
There was a gondola or some sort of chairlift that had to take me (and others) from Point A to Point B and back again.
Well, part of it near the beginning of the "trip there" and the end of the "trip back" was known as the Dark Matter section. There were these ghostly/rabid wolf-like demon creatures who'd jump up and try to attack the riders. But hey, those who survived lived to tell the tale.
I'm fairly sure the other portion was the total opposite with sunshine, rainbows, flowers and all sorts of stuff...think of the Wizard of Oz between the end of the Yellow Brick Road and the Haunted Forest around the witch's castle.
People definitely didn't make it on the trip there...which meant more places for the wolf creatures to jump into the structure.
Waking up was a hell of a way to beat them once they figured out they could jump up into the chairlift.
I've also had a LOT of Dark Matter stuck in my head lately and seeing some pictures and videos from Hollywood was probably the icing on the cake.

So ev was playing a solo show. First at my work and then it transitioned to my house outside. Really small amount of people. Had a couple dudes opening up. He was walking to sit by the stage carrying a bunch of picks in both hands. I fistbumped him and he dropped one. It had a really intricate poster like print on it, a few rabbits standing there, with big letters 'CK" and small eddie vedder. They sat down and started to warm up. They brought a dog with them and it was kind of neglected so I gave it water. Then the warm up duo came on & I went to find my dog and he was cold and wet too. Took him inside and it dawned on me this could be the only time I could maybe get a couple things signed by ev. Told my friend inside Eddie is going to play soon. She was like ok and started to casually get ready while I was still stunned he was going to play here at my house soon! As I was thinking about what to get signed. . .
I woke up.
Was trying to get back to that dream but not tonight.
