    Yeah. It worries me.

Outside of a few standout things, it was so plain.

On the topic of upcoming movies, trailers for Predator: Badlands and I Know What You Did Last Summer are out.

I will see both, but one of these I’m ridiculously excited for.

    Nolan is the GOAT, IMO.

This is probably my 2nd fav movie of his, after Inception.

I listen to Hans Zimmer's score for this all the time.

Of course I have seen this many times - I was in the mood for familiarity and crying, lol. I LOVE this movie. I think it might actually be the best Stephen King adaptation ever made, which is saying a lot for me, as a massive SK fan who has literally read every book before every movie, and literally seen every SK movie adaptation. I also think that Mister-shoe-squeaking Percy Whitmore is the most successfully evil character in movie history (which i think was probably easy for the actor, who is just such a fucking creep). Not to mention the genius of Sam Rockwell.

As a huge SK fan, always loved Stand By Me, Misery and Apt Pupil.. the worst, Dark Tower by far, big disappointment..

😭 The Dark Tower. So bad.

Mike Flanagan, we believe in you!

SK is the best. Agree on those movies above and throw in Shawshank. I like Dr. Sleep as well. Stand By Me is a favorite. That movie gets me every time.

The Royal Tenenbaums (Wes Anderson, rewatch in the cinema)

Held up better than I expected and generally hit home. I definitely prefer this (and Rushmore) to his cutesier recent work and might rewatch some of the others, although I don‘t think I‘m ever becoming a true Ander-stan

Rushmore is my all-time favorite. I did really appreciate Asteroid City once I read an in-depth analysis about everything that went over my head while watching. Moonrise Kingdom is probably my 2nd fave.

Yeah, might have gone over mine too. They have „Moonrise Kingdom“ on sometime in May, I‘ll try to catch it as well. Have always been fond of that one too.
