  I think this is how they will break the 2nd game story into the show.
  

  Season 2 - start of the game and all the flashback scenes , ends with joel's death
  Season 3 - starts after joel's death ends with theathre scene
  season 4 - abby's side with lev and end game with ellie on the beach
