TLOU Part II Introduces Chronological Mode

Naughty Dog has released a significant update for 'The Last of Us Part II Remastered', introducing a 'Chronological Mode'. This mode rearranges the game's narrative to follow the timeline of events as they occur, offering players a new way to experience the stories of Ellie and Abby. The update also includes new skins for characters Joel and Tommy, styled after Nathan Drake and Sam Drake from the Uncharted series, which players can unlock by completing the game in this new mode. Additionally, the update features new trophies, bug fixes, and performance improvements for both PS5 and PC platforms. This free update has sparked discussions among fans about the impact of experiencing the game's complex narrative in chronological order.

    Loved season 1.
    season 2 was meh.
knowing how long season 3 will take to get released, I'll probably forget everything I've seen and give up.
    My thoughts too.
S2 was okay, but S1 was fantastic.
and knowing it’s probably going to be 2 years before we get just another half season thats passed off as a full season, I pretty much already gave up.
But I was too curious what happens. So I bought the first game (my kids have a ps4) and played it. It was a fun game. I decided to tackle the second one.
I just started day 3 as Abby, and this game is awesome. The second game is way better than the show. I thought I’d hate Abby and even playing her, and I did at first. But they do a great job.
Good thing the kids go back to school before me (different district), so I can get a chance to finish it!

    blackbeltmastering

This 4-Song EP features music inspired by the HBO TV show “The Last Of Us”. This record marks a special milestone for me as I not only cut the vinyl masters but also digitally mastered the live version of ‘Present Tense (Redux)’. What a thrill to see all the positive feedback online about how this record sounds! Hats off to Josh Evans for the amazing mix and to Pearl Jam for always bringing ‘IT’! 🔥

‘The Last of Us’ Music Supervisors on Reuniting Crooked Still and That Gustavo Santaolalla Cameo

TheWrap magazine: Evyen Klean, Ian Broucek and Scott Hanau also talk preparing Pedro Pascal to perform Pearl Jam’s “Future Days”

The 2013 Pearl Jam ballad that Joel sings to Ellie on her birthday is in the video game, chosen because its theme of devotion sums up their bond (“If I ever were to lose you, I’d surely lose myself”). Similarly, “Take On Me” is heard in the game, performed by Ashley Johnson, who originated the role of Ellie and appears in Season 1 of the HBO series as Ellie’s mother. In Season 2, her cover of Shawn James’ “Through the Valley” from The Last of Us: Part II plays in the final minutes following Joel’s brutal death.
