    That's a dope scholarship.  Are those sunglasses the Pit Vipers or Pit Bosses lol? I forget what they're called.

    Pit Vipers. I became friends with the owner after we always ran into each other at the dog park. He would be wearing those ugly glasses and I’d think “good luck with that.” What do I know? The kids love ‘em.

    Surprised to get a bass. Very beautiful spot. Was just planning to cast a little to get the kinks out of my stuff. Saw the bass come in and munch the lure. Water is crystal clear.

    Trying out a new ultra light 6 maybe 7 foot rod. Not sure I like it. Really zero hook setting strength. Do like the sensitivity. 
    Whatever!!
    Happy to hook into one.

    Wow Rob! Thx for the pics. The one with the stripes looks like a fish here we call yellow perch or 'tiger' perch. People say they taste good. Big fish.

     It's a particularly big one actually they are normally small . Spines along the back

    I have caught 100's and 100's of perch. Some real nice jumbo's too.
    But holy fuck that is a HUGE PERCH!

    On this small lake they have chub up to 7lb. That's ridiculous size. I went there about 15 years ago and everything was small. Now I've gone back and it's all got oversized. I think the carp are around 18lb max so not so much those
