Why, though? I mean he kinda already is, but if he wants to play the Masters every year and maybe a couple other tournaments...what's the big deal? I'm happy to see him out there whenever he can do it.

I don’t get any enjoyment watching Tiger play mediocre golf at best.  All his stats have gone to shit unless you cut them off at 2008.

Agree with Juggs, if he wants to ceremoniously play the masters until he drops dead he’s earned the right and good for him

I get it.  We don’t see it in other sports.  So golf can be unique then here.  You can play tennis into your 90’s, but it stands out more in tennis as a youngster embarrasses a past his prime player 95% of the time.  In golf, you just sit at the bottom of the leaderboard and no one cares.

I played for the first time since November, as I was recovering from left knee surgery.  Still not fully healed and it shows on drives as I'm not confident enough to really shift to the left leg.  Shot a 45 on the front, which is the worst in probably two years.  Grinded out a 39 on the back, with never really being able to get off the tee.  But my short game was on and it saved me at least four strokes.  

Anyone watching this Content Creator Classic thing? I'm gonna watch a little later. That guy Trent from Barstool has actually made himself into a halfway decent golfer

Fat Perez plays at my club all of the time.  Nice enough guy.  He was also at a Dark Star Orchestra show next to me as well recently, wearing the same shit he does on a course.

An 11 on 17 but the roar from the crowd was deafening when he finally got it on. Grant Horvath is a douche.

I'm not a fan of island greens for the amateurs.  Pros, yes.  But someone like Trent, the drop area shot might be even harder than the tee shot.  Round killers because of a gimmick.  Someone like Trent, if they miss the green, it pretty much brings in triple bogey at best and that is too big of a penalty in my opinion.  

If you can't tell I'm talking about my own encounters with island greens.  Just doesn't make sense to play normal golf for 16 holes and then add in a miniature golf type gimmick hole.  Great tv.  Makes the pros sweat which is good.

I don't have an opinion on island greens as a general statement.  It's extremely rare that I run into one, certainly not around me.  Regarding Sawgrass, I think it's great there.  Rounds are like $400 and if you play it, that should be the highlight of your round.  You should just know that if you hit two in the water, drop it on the green and take your double/triple as appropriate.
