    Wonder what happened.
95 is a good run. But wife was like 30 years younger, and the dog died too. maybe carbon monoxide or something like that?

    Hell of a career. RIP.

RIP.  Legend but he should have designed the original play for Jimmy Chitwood.

CO poisoning was my first guess (after a brief flashback to Phil Hartman  :s).

Agreed on your two picks, Speedy, and I would throw Hoosiers in there too.

It's crazy to me that he had 2 marriages of at least 30 years. Loved him as an actor and many great performances, especially in the 90's. Crimson Tide was one of my favorites.
    It's a hopeless situation...

The deaths are looking extremely suspicious now IMO, and they are investigating. Apparently they gave ruled out any gas leaks or CO poisoning. Also, there were two other dogs still alive, one inside (poor things).
Seems like a really strange situation.

Sounds like they had Chief Wiggum on the case at first.  Nothing to see here - apart from two dead bodies and a dead dog!

    Bake 'em away, toys.

I wanted to watch the Royal Tenenbaums and / or Hoosiers last night, but Prime wanted another $3.99 for me to rent either... f that.

Mississippi Burning was available, but wife didn't want anything too heavy, so I'll revisit that one on my own.

I think that was everyone's first reaction. I don't think there's signs of break in or robbery, no obvious signs of death (like a gunshot), so not too much of a stretch to think it was CO poisoning or something similar at first glance. Only took less than a day to say things aren't adding up. Doesn't seem too unreasonable.

Something I read last night suggested the bodies showed signs of decomposition, they'd been deceased for a while. How there was still a dog alive in the house is really strange (Maybe an automatic feeder / water station?)
