    This is your President. SMH

BREAKING:  Trump ignorantly attacks the US trade agreements with Mexico and Canada.

He says "I blame our leadership for allowing it to happen."

For those of you who don't have dementia, selective memories, or are brainwashed, Trump is the one who created and signed the US-Mexico-and-Canada Trade Agreement in 2020 (USMCA).

So much for building manufacturing, JD Vance⁩. You guys are literally working to kill our semiconductor industry & the Columbus Intel plant that ⁦Mike DeWine⁩ brought in a bipartisan effort. Firing all workers implementing CHIPS. MAGA or MCGA?

FoxxCON anyone? Why is anyone surprised by what is happening? It’s not like we didn’t have warnings or history or anything.

The brilliant brilliance of brilliancy of all time thus far? Demanding 50% of Ukraine’s rare earth minerals that are primarily used for and in an industry you’re actively working to kill. Drill baby drill.

I know "conservative" tends to be a swear word on this forum, but I sometimes wonder if in this nation, the progressive/ liberal hatred for all things conservative may have influenced the rise of tyranny in this country.  I think it's wise to consider that there are conservatives who are allies in fight against that tyranny.

I don’t know that conservative is a swear word here. There are plenty of people who identify as conservatives who often vote R.

And I don’t think any/many liberals/progressives hate all things conservative. What led you to believe that?

OSC (Office of Special Counsel) has gotten right back to work and declared the terminations that have occurred illegal & that terminated employees should be reinstated with backpay. you can read more about it below. not paywalled so have fun! https://www.govexec.com/workforce/2025/02/oversight-agency-finds-trumps-federal-worker-firings-unlawful-asks-some-employees-be-reinstated/403218/
Good indeed, I’m hoping my son who works for VA here in Suffolk county as an anesthesia technician for the Main OR will not lose his job he did respond to the email outlining his function in the operating room! Everyone of the employees there responded to the email as directed by directors of operations

Well, bad on me for generalizing, but I'm not sure how else to put it.  I do think, generally speaking, liberals here tend to have tendency to be opposed to almost everything deemed "conservative".  And I should have noted that I was only referring to people who identify as liberal.  I do know there are people here who identify as "conservative".

On a personal note, I am probably what you would call "a liberal".  But I'm not liberal on everything, and besides, I don't care for labels.  I think of myself as one who believes in doing and supporting that which makes the most sense, and in standing by what is best for all of life, including people and the planet. Especially for the health of the planet, because if the planet is not healthy, people are not healthy.  If the planet becomes overly unhealthy, there will be few, if any people.

Yeah it’s always been ironic/sad to me that environmental issues are considered liberal causes. Whoever the evil fuck was that managed to politicize the most pressing issue to face all mankind should be tossed into a hurricane.

Fun fact, one of the largest fraud cases having to with Medicare and Medicaid convicted Philip Esformes of bilking $1 billion from the US government.  Guess who pardoned him in 2021?  Trump.

Donald Trump’s crypto coin could be the biggest corruption scheme in the history of the presidency ... at least according to senchrismurphy.

But what is it and how is it opening up the door for foreign players to line Trump’s pockets? Here’s everything you need to know about $TRUMP.

The Trump administration has quietly deleted much of their "wall of receipts" claiming to show how much money DOGE was saving after it was revealed that their numbers were false.

lol....it's like his pardon of Tarrio. He gets out and gets arrested for assaulting a woman. Not sure why that isn't getting more attention after all that bs about Biden being soft on crime.

It always come back to the grift: This time selling off public lands to finance a “Sovereign Wealth” slush fund for Trump.

With Elon gutting agencies that regulate his businesses & Trump profiting from his scam meme coin & from Saudi investments, it’s just the next stage of the corruption pervading this Administration.

My sister and I were talking about that today.  I suggested more people out on the streets protesting is what we need.  She said she didn't think that makes any difference anymore.  I started scanning the streets for the tallest building.  Well, four floors up is as tall as we've got in this small town, so I guess it's "hit the streets" or fuggedaboudit for me.

I don’t think I have the right words to explain this.

Americans voted for Trump but don’t like his policies one bit.

    "HE" will enact a law.....

Pres. Trump posted a threat on his social media platform to sue journalists who use "anonymous" sourcing in their reporting.

Trump aired frustration with books and stories being published "with the so-called 'anonymous,' or 'off the record,' quotes." Trump said he might even enact a law against anonymous sourcing.

Trump has yet to approve an emergency disaster declaration for West Virginia.

The declaration would help facilitate federal relief efforts after devastating floods last week.

Trump laid of hundreds of staff at FEMA and has suggested states should fix their own disasters.

Extremely disappointing is the one at the top. Net 18+ on LGBTQ+. That’s gross.
