They are playing the Hollywood Palladium......it only holds around 3,500 humans.....they have never been a huge draw in L.A.

Brooklyn paramount hold about the same. I entered the presale for nights 2 and 3. Wish I could also attend night 1 but can’t pull that many nights in a row with a three year old. Babysitting adds up quickly lol

State Theater in Portland holds about 2000. This will be one day shy of the 15 year anniversary of the last time they were there.  Can't wait!

    See you in Brooklyn!
How difficult of a ticket do you think this will be? Do you think I need to splurge for the paid family pass, or I’ll be fine with my unpaid one big family membership?
  • CantKeepmedownCantKeepmedown Portland, Maine Posts: 3,065
I'd say it depends on where you're seeing them and whether or not the other "perks" are worth it to you (archived music, videos, unreleased content, etc).  It's not really worth it to me because I'd really only use it for tickets and I don't think I'll have an issue getting them for my local show (which I doubt will be an instant sellout).

Also, the unpaid OBF membership still gets you 2nd dibs at tickets and ahead of the general public. Would be interested to see how many OBF paid members they have.

Thanks! Im just trying for a single for Brooklyn- not sure yet if I’m doing one or two nights. But think I’ll take my chances with the unpaid OBF membership.

I honestly don't think it will be a difficult ticket.

Jesus, really?  I was all in to get tickets for the whole family in Portland but I may have to think about that lol

Edit.....actually I'm seeing now that they are only $65.  Wonder why it's double for Brooklyn?

Now I'm seeing that the other shows have tix for much less.  I'm very tempted to cancel my ticket requests and plan on trying to get tix last minute.  I want to go to nights 2 and 3 of Brooklyn.

Edited to add: I am really torn here.  They are my second favorite band.  But I don't want to be stuck with Balcony seats for $280 a night.  I'd feel much better if there was a GA only option.

Edited again LOL:  I cancelled my ticket request for the Brooklyn shows and I'm disappointed in the fanclub.

I should add that the $65 is for an in-person purchase at the box office. I assume online it'll be closer to $80-90.  But still, not close to $140. That's pretty steep. I love MMJ as well but not sure I'd pay that much.  Sorry man.

Portland is 79 for the presale which is about what I'd expect

I mean $79 at the State Theatre over $112 at MGM Music Hall all day

The STL show is the way to go, there's a Top Golf and a 4 hands brewing all right next to the venue, it's a middle aged dad's dream.

Has anyone been to the Salt Shed?  Is it worth a trip to Chicago?  Wondering if the premium seating is a part of the OBF sale for reserved.  I really enjoyed the Chicago theater on their last three night run there.  Any information would be much appreciated.

I’ve been to the outdoor component of the Salt Shed and it was a good venue. Never been to the indoor portion though so I cannot speak to that.

The salt shed is fantastic. It’s absolutely nothing like the Chicago theater however. IMO standard GA is the way to go. The venue resembles a basketball ball gym with only seating in the rear. The shed has some cool stores indoors and I believe a dispensary is in the works. There is not much around however within walking distance.

WOW I just got two of the brooklyn shows by using the generic presale code FAMILYPASS

$186 for a pair for each night.  Meanwhile, presale from this weekend was $280 a pair, almost one hundred dollars more the the same GA tix!!!!

Total price for me: $372.  Total price had I not followed my gut and kept my presale request open: $560.  Total savings: $188.

MMJ fanclub botched this badly.  I also fully expect below face value tix closer to the show. But I'd rather have them now than worry about it later.

You know, I wondered if they fucked up the standard ticket price. For most shows the upgrade to VIP was about 110 but for Brooklyn it was only 67. This makes more sense.

    I just don't get it.

I'd be irate if I paid $140 per ticket and got seating up top

They fucked up Boston too. Was $112 for Family Pass but you can get them for $68 all in on TM. Yeeeesh.
