McCartney just dropped this around noon time for Brooklyn (AND Jack White is playing down the street).
Love how it's being executed - no advance sales, box office only. 10C only would work too, ala The Vic.
Regardless, we need more stuff like this: 35 years, 35 shows. 35 years, 35 shows.
Song Wishlist: Alone, Let Me Sleep, Brother, full W.M.A., Hold On, Bugs/all of Vitalogy, Mankind, Around The Bend (full band), The Long Road, Don't Gimme No Lip, Pilate, Push Me Pull Me, All Those Yesterdays, Rival, Parting Ways, Ghost, Bu$hleaguer, WWS, Parachutes, Army Reserve, low octave Driftin', Strangest Tribe, Other Side, Undone, Fatal, Hitchhiker, Education, Black Red Yellow, Of the Earth, Love Reign O'er Me, Gonna See My Friend, Santa Cruz, Infallible, Yellow Moon, Alright, Comes Then Goes, and the Mamasan Trilogy.Wanted Posters: WPB '98, Tampa/WPB '00, Tampa '03, EV Batmobile '08ISO: any picks, or setlists from any of my shows!0

I tried to manifest one at the 2012 SiriusXM Town Hall. I made sure my friend and I were in the last group to take our picture. Ed put his arms around our shoulders. After photo I asked him:
"So Ed, where's the secret show tonite? You're all here, in Studio X with instruments?"
Ed: "Ummm, ummm, I uh, I uh, I got a dentist appt in the morning, yeah...a dentist appt"
And he was gone in a flash

Wow. Thanks. But I am going to see Jack White tonight. Luckily, I have seen Paul twice before. Never in such a small place. But he is amazing.Post edited by GlowGirl on0

I believe it was 48 hours between announcement and sale. It was nerve wrecking for all. Can’t believe I was fortunate enough to purchase tickets. I seem to remember Tim commenting they sold out in less than 30 seconds.HailHailVitalogy said:
I looked up the fan views last night, and well well well you were one of the reviewers. Super jealous. I remember I was in the middle of packing up all my stuff for my first year of college and sat on my laptop to get tickets. Then started mapping out a roadtrip to Chicago to try to get in, which I didn’t. I remember people on here saying tickets were being scalped for $500. In 2025 I would do that in a heartbeat. I've been tracking these McCartney shows very closely, and missed tickets on Tuesday (took the subway down from midtown as soon as I saw the announcement - too late). Couldn't get yesterday, and was planning to go tomorrow AM if there was a sale tomorrow. Didn't expect the Friday show to go on sale today.
 Here's what I've observed:
 1) 85 tickets sold per show / 1 ticket per person.
 2) Tues show tickets onsale around Noon.
 3) Wed show tickets onsale around 10 am.
 4) Friday show tickets onsale today around 1 pm.
 5) Only reason they took 15-20 mins to sell out is each transaction was in person w/ cash.
 6) No show tonight.
Prediction: EV plays tomorrow w/ Sir Paul. PS - Bowery is the best venue in Manhattan. I've seen too many shows there to count and some have been absolute all-timers. Most recently The Killers last year. It was ELECTRIC.
 As far as I know, Ed has never played the room. I'd sell a kid to see PJ there.Post edited by danlee1095 on9/8/98 (NJ), 9/10/98 (NY), 8/23/00 (NY), 8/24/00 (NY), 8/25/00 (NY), 4/30/03 (NY), 7/8/03 (NY), 7/9/03 (NY), 5/12/06 (NY), 6/1/06 (NJ), 6/3/06 (NJ), 8/5/07 (IL), 6/22/08 (DC), 6/24/08 (NY), 6/25/08 (NY), 7/1/08 (NY), 10/4/09 (TX ), 10/30/09 (PA), 5/20/10 (NY), 5/21/10 (NY), 9/3/11 (WI), 9/4/11 (WI), 7/19/13 (IL), 10/18/13 (NY), 10/19/13 (NY), 10/3/14 (MO), 9/23/15 (NY), 9/26/15 (NY), 5/1/16 (NY), 5/2/16 (NY), 8/5/16 (MA), 8/22/16 (IL), 4/7/17 (NY), 6/18/18 (UK), 8/20/18 (IL), 9/2/18 (MA), 9/4/18 (MA), 9/18/21 (NJ), 9/26/21 (CA), 10/1/21 (CA), 10/2/21 (CA), 9/10/22 (NY), 9/11/22 (NY), 9/14/22 (NJ), 9/16/22 (TN), 9/22/22 (CO), 8/31/23 (MN), 9/2/23 (MN), 9/5/23 (IL), 9/7/23 (IL), 5/16/24 (NV), 5/18/24 (NV), 5/28/24 (WA), 5/30/24 (WA), 8/29/24 (IL), 8/31/24 (IL), 9/3/24 (NY), 9/4/24 (NY), 9/7/24 (PA), 9/12/24 (MD), 9/15/24 (MA), 9/17/24 (MA), 4/24/25 (FL), 4/26/25 (FL)0
