Wow. Thanks. But I am going to see Jack White tonight. Luckily, I have seen Paul twice before. Never in such a small place. But he is amazing.

Funny I listened to the Vic yesterday. 1400 people all belting out In Hiding. 1400 people with all 10c tickets, maybe a couple dozen vips but a true 10c show. Man…
It was frustrating, but such a thrill trying to buy ten club tickets back then on the Pearl Jam site.
I looked up the fan views last night, and well well well you were one of the reviewers. Super jealous. I remember I was in the middle of packing up all my stuff for my first year of college and sat on my laptop to get tickets. Then started mapping out a roadtrip to Chicago to try to get in, which I didn’t. I remember people on here saying tickets were being scalped for $500. In 2025 I would do that in a heartbeat. What a show
I believe it was 48 hours between announcement and sale. It was nerve wrecking for all. Can’t believe I was fortunate enough to purchase tickets. I seem to remember Tim commenting they sold out in less than 30 seconds.

I've been tracking these McCartney shows very closely, and missed tickets on Tuesday (took the subway down from midtown as soon as I saw the announcement - too late).  Couldn't get yesterday, and was planning to go tomorrow AM if there was a sale tomorrow.  Didn't expect the Friday show to go on sale today.

    Here's what I've observed:
    1) 85 tickets sold per show / 1 ticket per person.
    2) Tues show tickets onsale around Noon.
    3) Wed show tickets onsale around 10 am.
    4) Friday show tickets onsale today around 1 pm.
    5) Only reason they took 15-20 mins to sell out is each transaction was in person w/ cash.
    6) No show tonight.

Prediction: EV plays tomorrow w/ Sir Paul.  Hide Your Love Away / I've Got a Feeling / Imagine

PS - Bowery is the best venue in Manhattan.  I've seen too many shows there to count and some have been absolute all-timers.  Most recently The Killers last year.  It was ELECTRIC.

As far as I know, Ed has never played the room.  I'd sell a kid to see PJ there.

I ran down there today around 12:15 and tickets were already gone. They had passed out vouchers earlier in the day - and if you didn't get there in time to get a voucher you didn't get a ticket. I heard that people has spent the night there. I knew there was going to be a show tomorrow night and was planning on going there really early tomorrow morning - so the sale today took me by surprise.

Anyone else impressed with the 82 (going on 83) years old playing three shows a week, two on consecutive nights?

Yes. We need to convince our boys to follow suit.

But without the misery of lining up all night in the rain!

And now there's also a lot of whining on the relevant Macca boards and such.

I read that people left the show last night and got in back in line overnight. I can’t judge. There might be a certain band I have done that for once or twice ☺️

He must be having a blast. For $50, he could play half covers, and the rest from Venus and Mars, his entire meh 80's catalog, Flaming Pie, the classical album, and III. All bets are off!

Good recon, Dan! 🫡 I had tix to JW and was gonna come up for a day, or 2. Had to cancel & sell, but man... I would've been stalking the Bowery for this😅
I too had to bail on JW!  I had Irving Monday and Wednesday in Brooklyn but yesterday the flu got me (and was not feeling so great earlier in the week).  So turns out to be a good thing I didn't get McCartney tickets. Did I really just make that statement??  Ha ha.

Same here!  I had the intel on Friday show on Wed and was expecting to make an effort Friday AM for tickets, but the Thursday sale (and the flu) saved me from what was likely a giant heartache anyway.  But still, long live Sir Paul, and long live the Bowery!!

I hope not. If Ol' McCartney can do it, I still hold out hope for the boys!
