That’s what the clown Leavitt said on Friday. Tens of millions of Americans have been killed by fentanyl. Of course the dumb Magats will believe it.

The stock market is fucked on Monday. Auto industry will screech to a halt in a couple weeks. Millions of people in that industry will be out of work.

I bet it’s -3% pre market, drops another couple during the day and closes down 4-5%. It’s going to be a disaster.

It's like slamming into a brick wall.  The approach takes awhile, but once the collision begins...

Yep, including the MAGA idiots who voted for the dictator.  The question is, how long, if ever, will it take to sink into their thick skulls?

I imagine that screenshots of the DJIA, NASDAQ composite and S&P 500, etc. will only be posted during down market periods.

Brent Spence Bridge Project Faces Uncertainty

Covington leaders advocate for continued infrastructure investment

Officials in Covington, Ky. are emphasizing the need for government funding for the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project amid the confusion surrounding the lack of clarity in regards to President Trump's proposed federal funding freeze.

A federal judge temporarily halted enforcement of Trump's freeze until Monday, Feb. 3. The Trump Administration announced Wednesday afternoon that it was rescinding its funding freeze memo.

The multi-billion-dollar transportation project has three components: the construction of a new bridge along the Interstate 71/Interstate 75 corridor, improvements to the existing bridge and improvements along eight miles approaching both sides of the Ohio River.

The design for the project has been underway since 2005.

According to a press release from Covington, the most recent cost estimates were at least $3.6 billion, with the federal government allocating $1.6 billion of that in January 2023.

“As a route for $2 billion in goods a day and many thousands of workers’ commutes, the Brent Spence Bridge’s impact on local, regional and national commerce cannot be overestimated,” said Covington Mayor Ron Washington in a press release.

Things that don’t make the regular news. Trump is proposing a $1 million docking fee on every non American made cargo ship docking in an American port. Most large container ships are foreign made.

therefore shipping costs go up, therefore price of those goods goes up in addition to the tariffs......

And what happens to the American cargo ships that have to dock on the docks abroad? Or is everything this country exports get loaded onto foreign ships?

Consumer confidence plunged 7 points in February, the biggest monthly drop in four years, with eggs unaffordable, inflation rising, Trump's tariffs threatening the economy, and more Americans now expect a recession this year.

do note last week he said he wasnt to be blamed for the first year as it wasnt his to own.

sure seems to be having immediate impact

    yes/no?

Typically, in normal times and with competent and normal people in leadership positions, the first nine months of a new administration is considered the honeymoon period as they work on their budget plan for a new fiscal year that begins October 1st. As such, it’s still Brandon’s economy until their budget kicks in and you’ve had three months or so of implementation and its effects. The one year mark is when the “they own it” generally kicks in.

Not this time. They’ve come in with a wrecking ball and are not working on anything policy wise for solutions and there are looming deadlines for the budget and spending that they’re not addressing, despite having majorities in both houses. Repub congressional representatives are afraid of COOTWH and Elongitaint and know that you can’t slash $4T from spending without massive cuts to popular programs. Leadership requires knowing how things work and where to reduce spending and invest spending. That leadership doesn’t exist. Stupid won.

    Good fucking luck.
