If birds don’t exist, then bird flu must be made up too. Unless they (government, or maybe CHY-na) were able to figure out a way for the feathered, pooping drones to carry and spread bird flu.

On the other hand, if birds ARE real…then bird flu is real, we should be installing windmills at a record pace to deal with such a problem.

You know…cuz windmills kill all the birds.

Here we go again. If it happened during trump…holdover from previous admin. When it happened during Biden, it was an immediate consequence of something he did that day.

The stupid knows no bounds. “Next” indeed.

so eggs are more expensive WITH bird flu or BECAUSE OF bird flu?
Well since you cherry pick when to discuss price increases in eggs. They have been on a steady increase the past couple of years. In 2022 they were up 36%. Pro-tip....Use GOOGLE.

This is the crux of all of it. Trump supporters who have average or even above average income WILL NOT BENEFIT FROM HIS POLICIES. THEY WILL HURT YOU. THEY WILL HURT R’s AND D’s AND EVERYONE ON BETWEEN. YOU HAVE BEEN FOOLED. And everyone will pay the price.

Right vs left be damned. He played you all for fools. And no, we don’t take pleasure in I told you so’s. We don’t take pleasure in ANYONE hurting. But mutherfucker you let your bigotry and ignorance to facts fuck up your country, and this affects all of us, American or not.

Again no facts just a tangent...Cry more.

Another reason I became Independent. The Democrats are their way or you are kicked out. There is no middle ground. This is a perfect example. Ignore facts...sit in your bubble...have zero perspective  of what others are thinking. This is why they lost and are crashing fast. The party might break up they are so out of touch.

Went out to breakfast today to one of our usual Sunday spots.
Egg meals all went up in price.
Bacon went way up in price (an increase of $1.50 for a side of bacon, 3 slices)
I was promised by this administration that the prices of these exact things would be coming down. Yet just the opposite has happened. Are you saying I was lied to by Trump and Vance?

    Use GOOGLE...It's not that tough.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) price outlook, egg prices are predicted to increase about 20% in 2025, compared to about 2.2% for overall food prices. The USDA attributed the rise in egg costs to the highly pathogenic avian influenza, or bird flu, outbreak, which has caused a strain in supply.

The price hike is not sudden, as eggs cost 36.8% more in December 2024 than in December 2023, but were still below peak prices from January 2023, according to the USDA. The outlook says retail egg prices climbed 8.4% in December 2024 and continued to experience volatile month-to-month changes.

Explain the massive 37.5% bacon price increase this week. Bird flu for that as well?
Well if you want to just acknowledge that the prices are increasing now when they have been the past for years then I will give you a mulligan because you have been fed propaganda for many years and will have to adjust. Next....
I was promised by the current President that if elected he would lower grocery prices, specifically mentioned bacon dozens of times. Now he says he won't do it and doesn't care.
How can I make a BLT in this country?

no one here is crying. but it's really quite telling when someone shows concern for their fellow earthlings and your first go-to is a callous dismissal. You are clearly not my target audience. Looking for people who give a fuck about their fellow human. You are not that person.

NOAA refuses to conduct a programmatic review to assess the impact of Incidental Harassment Authorizations on individual species. For example, offshore wind companies can now harass nearly three times the number of critically endangered North Atlantic Right Whales currently alive. Yet, why hasn’t anyone asked, if these companies claim their work is harmless to marine mammals, why do they even apply for "takes,” and why does NOAA grant so many permissions if they're so confident that no association exists? These questions deserve answers from our government agencies.
