@dudeman this is a sick set up!  I'm guessing you don't live in an apartment complex.  ;)
Haha! No, I have some elbow room at my place.

Good thing, too. That room has a fully mic'd drum set and my bass rig in it. We do recordings of live jams and it gets pretty loud.

No police visits due to noise yet!

Ha ha.  Love it!  Where did you get your pedal board from?

The board itself is a Pedaltrain PT-1. I added taller feet to the back to increase the angle a little bit and make more room underneath. I have the power supply, patch boxes and a noise gate mounted under there.

The pedals themselves are a mixed bag of ones I built and some that I bought. Pretty much any type of sound I will use is covered by that board.

Just dragged this amp home on Wednesday. It appears to be a Weber "Maggie" amp, built from a kit. The amp itself is pretty much a Tweed Fender Princeton but it uses a single 6L6 power tube instead of the 6V6 that the original Tweed Princeton had.

This one also has a Boost switch on the preamp tube that gives the preamp three different voicings. Works pretty well!

The cabinet is pine so it is pretty lightweight and it has two Weber Alnico speakers, one 8" and one 10".  Gets plenty loud and with the circuit changes, it stays reasonably clean pretty far up the volume dial. Get over the halfway point and it breaks up and barks like a good Tweed amp should.

    Thanks man!

I plugged all of those amps in together for a bit and cranked them up. Definitely irresponsible and potentially dangerous to my hearing but also really fun!

  • Just picked this up late last week and so far I'm very happy with it. Does everything I'm looking for tone wise at volume levels that won't make my wife and kids want to kill me.

Orange amps look legit and so much cheaper than the fender I want.

I love mine. Paid $500 for it. I’ve played it at several shows now in small venues and pretty large venues and I’ve been happy with the sound. Also, being a solid state amp it’s sturdy and can take a beating.

Orange does solid state gain stages better than anyone, IMO. Even the relatively affordable Crush 20 and Crush 35 sound great and they sound much bigger than their physical size would suggest.

Picked up an Orange Rockerverb 50 MkIII the other day. I've had one before and sold it to go digital with a Helix. There's nothing wrong with the Helix at all but I came to regret selling the Rockerverb. This one came up a couple of hours' drive away from me for a good price and I had to have it. Very happy to have a valve amp again!

🫣 Quick bump for any opinions on: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/IDCORE40V4--blackstar-idcore-v4-stereo-40-40-watt-2-by-6.5-inch-digital-combo-amplifier

The first video above ("Ok, now I get it") is probably the best of the three and has me excited about it.

    Thanks for your time! 🤘🫡
