I will keep beating the hope drum for Summer shows in the US so that teachers can attend out of town shows without having to miss instruction time.
Do teachers realize that the rest of us need to take time off from work no matter when the show falls, summer or not?
Or just go to a show in your town! They ain't at 11 in the morning lol.
Too bad they haven't been to Detroit in over 10 years.  I guess it would be nice if they came around more often
It ain't 10 but I went 6 between Boston shows. Family obligations mean I really have to pick my spots if I'm traveling for anything more me-focused.

Nowadays there are so many good shows coming around. Too many to keep up with, especially if you're in a city like Boston or Detroit. It's very liberating to go from Pearl Jam is my favorite band to Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands with their current touring schedule.
    Last Detroit show was 2014.
They are aware of this. There will be 10-12 arena shows before the next nhl season kicks off, leading to full band at Ohana, followed by SA
So you are saying another quick 5-6 city Leg in late August/ early September ending with Ohana?  Possibly including Detroit?  Am I reading this right?
can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?

That means a pretty hefty year of touring for s group that doesn't like touring.

The geometric density map of North American shows...for anyone interested in that kind of thing.

It makes sense. Columbus (and I'd imagine Cincinnati, Cleveland and maybe even Detroit) is within eight hours driving of something like 90% of the US population.

From Columbus, it's quicker than you think to drive to Chicago, Boston (closer to 12 to but it's EASILY doable in one day), Raleigh, NYC, Philadelphia, Buffalo, St. Louis, Nashville, etc etc...and that's a crazy amount of the US population in those cities.

I drove from southern Vermont to Columbus with a quick stopover in Cleveland and I left after a late breakfast and still got there by midnight.

...and from there, it's easy enough to get to just about anywhere, even if it's two days' driving from your origin point. (Philly to Chicago is a super-easy drive, but it'll take two days.)

Like I've said, I've heard no Montreal from an insider. There were talks but they fell through. I don't know if that means no Canada at all or just something else was decided.

    Grand Rapids > Detroit.
I’ll take a Van Andel show any time
Cannot imagine a 2 night stand in GR but we can dream
that being said, I’ll be surprised if there’s a show in the Mitten this year. All the Chicago shows, and Pitt being somewhat close to Detroit…..I don’t see it

Hamilton arena construction is scheduled to be completed towards the end of 2025. They have said that they already have acts booked for when it re-opens.

Not sure that'll change anything, really... Canadian politicians seem like a club of talking heads with no ideas of any real substance that end up just maintaining the status quo and focusing their energy on politicking. Although I guess that's most democracies nowadays.
