Early entry seems like a tough logistical ask for a fest of this size and do you really need a 10C sale?

Damn I saw the event poster and nearly shit myself.  It was a must buy.  So
many insanely awesome acts. I just now came onto the pj site and realized it’s broken up into two weekends.  Not sure anymore, I’ll have to think about it

Definitely makes a big difference. If DMB and PJ were playing the same weekend, especially back to back nights, it would be a no-brainer for me. But as is, no way i could pull it off. Lots of other good lower tier bands, but those are the only two headliners i’m even remotely interested in. And not worth traveling that far (from Michigan) just for one day of the fest.

No. But it would be nice if there was at least early entry for GA. I get it for festivals, but it would be nice if there was some nod to the 10C.

Agreed, I was like holy crap!  I'm still thinking about it since it's a short jump over there from Austin and apparently it's a daytime fest so it ends early, but I'm already in FL the weekend before.  Jazzfest has been a bucket list thing for me so we'll see.  We go to NO when we can, I love the place.

I can't see that being a good idea. The idea of a festival is it sits outside these things -- offering preferential treatment for fans of one of the headliners seems antithetical to that. JazzFest doesn't and shouldn't care about your 10C status.

Plus you know it'll be filled with Dark Matter and 90s radio hits, being a festival. If anyone's looking for the deep cuts, this won't be the place.
