I would agree that if I am in Philly I would order it the right way. Cooper wit. But I also like it when it is dressed like a Po Boy. Maybe just call it a grilled roast beef sandwich instead. Some delis do that up here in NY. Boars Head roast beef heated up on the flat top. Not a true philly but still very good. And I put Kewpie mayo on almost everything!

not unsurprisingly, it’s hard to find a good cheesesteak in the wasteland of salt lake city. moochie’s (“straight outta philly) is good. we went to a total dive bar tonight where some philly-type guy took over the kitchen. his mom and dad bring out the food. mom said they’re from not far from F’me’s crib in cherry hill. I’m guessing they weren’t quite so affluent. anyway, pretty good philly for SLC. not quite as robust as juggler’s last post. check the menu….are these philly staples? the last one has rabe but I thought that was a pork thing in philly?
