Elizabeth Warren, et al. Do you find it strange that she's equivocating for someone you don't see as being "in your court?"

And why would you say he's in "my court" when I seem to be one of the few people around here willing to call this unequivocally evil?

She clearly said that what he did was wrong but that we should expect more of this if we don't fix things.

It's like the homeless and/or lower class arguments for more social services that the GOP opposes. At some point there will be a massive homeless hoard that will overrun all of us and we won't be able to stop it. My side keeps saying we need to get more from the wealthy and your side keeps opposing that. The money has to come from somewhere and cutting social services is not the answer.

It seemed like you were saying Luigi was a democrat or something....I don't think so.

    Sorry if I misinterpreted.

This is an appropriate statement from a Democrat Senator

    totally agree...he's another Unabomber

but it still points out a problem...people will snap and they will take matters into their own hands. We're a gun culture...that's how we solve things.

Any changes to the healthcare system should be made because they improve the healthcare system. Congress can get to work on that. It's not easy, it's complex. Warren's intimation that it becomes more urgent under threat of a bullet is vile.

I'd argue its a fringe element cheering it on and its a majority of people showing minimal empathy for the CEO in this situation. But because a fringe element *exists* its painted as the median POV and therefore all the left (even though people meming it was across the whole ideological spectrum). Thats generally what happens when you view the world as only left right/black white.

I do find it interesting that we are hung up on how people are reacting this story and not why they are reacting this way. I guess its just easier to browbeat people for feeling a way rather than fixing whats clearly a problem. But thats America in 2024 isn't it. Its easier to just take an emotional position on something than it does to actually deal with a real problem.

The line of decency isn't above "cheering it on," it's above "equivocating a murder"

The why is because people are simplifying a complex problem to the point of equivocating murder

When a system minimizes certain lives, don’t be shocked when that cancer starts spreading.

    This is complete hyperbole
  • This is only a story until the next fauxrage occurs. Or until POOTWH delivers that concept of a plan to make healthcare more affordable, accessible and better than ever to Congress for a vote. THE BEST IS YET TO COME! Well, for Greece anyway.

Putting aside Elizabeth Warren's baseline stupidity and overinflated sense of self, it seems insane for a divisive government official to put this out in the ether. For self preservation if nothing else.

She's right. People will fight back as evidenced right here in front of you.
If the Presidential election were held next week I probably would have voted for Trump.
This is fucking hilarious BTW.  But I get it, you’d hate to be associated with monsters who have vile positions on topics.

The scion of a prominent, wealthy family who graduated valedictorian of a 40k/year prep school is having his "life minimized" folks
