I always listened to this song after I broke up with my gf. I just wanted to forget about her but I couldn't get her out of my head. I needed something to "wash my love" because i was black on the inside. Amazing song.

the beginning guitar is awesome...and then the drums and eddie doing his thing.(lostdogs)..i get the imagrey of rain and a gray day...why the hell isn't on ten...? it could def fit after garden...

yes.....such an amazing tune. look at many of the songs on lost dogs, demonstrates all the more the brilliant quality of pearl jam's music, that these tracks were left off of earlier studio albums for various reasons.

i love, love, looooooooooooovvveee wash.

Yes, like someone said earlier...it's simple and understated, even the vocals are somehow. That's what I like about it....and it has a gentle groove throughout the song, I think thats what makes it sexy.

SUCH an unbelievable song! Definitely one of my favs as well. It's sooooo pretty. Agreed, the imagery is awesome. LOVE these lyrics. LOVE all these marine like sounds. I don't know, just such a watery feel to it all. I love that. The entire feel of the song just washes over you, "clean and pure"....exactly! PJ is just SO brilliant like that.

Also, I must agree...there IS indeed some sexiness going on here. This line alone is just

wash is definitely one of those songs that catches your attention the first time you hear it. a lot of people can relate to it and i think thats why it's so heart felt. and yes, very sexy.
