Looking for 2 GA to either night in Raleigh or Pittsburg please. It was my Son's first concert when we saw them in B'more and I would love to surprise him with pit tickets.
Go away and come back later.... if you're a member you can try for them like the rest of us

Why are folks already posting for tickets?
Because my hit rate on scoring GA through the 10C is the equivalent to the amount of Chicago Cubs World Series titles since 1997.

I got shut out on GA both concerts I went to and got horrible seats back of floor for mine but I was able to sell them on F2F when they released extra tickets in the week before concert. I got front row on side of stage both nights. Just need to be dedicated to checking Ticketmaster daily and there’s still hope to get great seats. I actually might have preferred my side stage seats as I got a tambourine and little interaction with Eddie as he left the stage 1 night.

In 2010, PJ at Jazz Fest was announced before the 2010 tour. In 2016, both Jazz Fest & the 2016 tour were announced on Jan 19th.

    BUT...

    With the band's scaled-back touring, I think it'll be more like 2022.

2025 Tour will be announced first (very, very soon), then if Jazz Fest is a go, that will be later (mid-January). Kinda like with Bourbon and Beyond:

    PJ - 09/23/98: West Palm Beach II, 08/12/00: Tampa, 04/12/03: Orlando, 04/13/03: Tampa, 06/12/08: Tampa, 06/27/08: Hartford, 09/22/09: Seattle II, 04/11/16: Tampa, 05/01 & 05/02/16: MSG I & II, 09/18/21: Sea Hear Now, 10/01 & 10/02/21: Ohana Encore I & II, 05/06 & 05/07/22: Los Angeles (Inglewood) I & II, 09/11/22: MSG, 09/16/22: Nashville, 09/02/23: St. Paul II, 09/07/23: Chicago II, 09/18 & 09/19/23: Austin I & II, 05/16 & 05/18/24: Las Vegas I & II, 08/29 & 08/31/24: Wrigley Field I & II, 09/03 & 09/04/24: MSG I & II, 09/27 & 09/29/24: Ohana Festival I & II

I don't expect a tour announcement until 2025, unless Jazz Fest gets announced in 2024.
It doesn't seem crazy to me that they would announce a run of headline shows then a festival or two gets plugged in whenever those festivals announce
Didn’t that happen in 2022 or am I remembering that wrong? Bit different with rescheduled shows I guess.
Regardless, bands do it all the time
I read your post wrong. Thought you meant it was

Will lottery begin as soon as an announcement is made?

    Yup.

It's typically: "Tickets go on sale on __date and time_. A presale for 10 Club members active as of yesterday is now open and closes on ______."

It's important to remember that people who enter in the first five minutes have the same exact chance as people who enter in the last minute.
    Thank you.
If this Thursday it's stressing me out because I'll be at work (last day of classes until January 21) and away from the phone & the internet.
If they announce Thursday you’ll probably have until about Sunday to enter

    Indeed.

And again, everyone who enters on Thursday has the same chance to win as people who enter on Sunday evening do.

Keep in mind that if you win, your card will be charged. At least now, if you can't go, you can put your tickets up on Fan2Fan (Ticketmaster exchange) and the first person to see them gets them.

The buyer cannot dictate who the seller is. If you try for an oddball time like 4am your time zone, keep in mind that it's 10am in another time zone.

And...let me get this out of the way:

Even if some venues don't allow direct transfers, those venues have season ticket holders and other people who can directly transfer tickets. A lot of NHL, NBA, MLB, etc season ticket holders will buy concert tickets, sell them for profit and use that to defray the cost of their season tickets.

DO NOT GET UPSET WHEN RESALE TICKETS ARE $499.99 or whatever. THESE ARE PROBABLY SEASON TICKET HOLDER TICKETS.

Also: Don't freak out and buy the Platinum tickets for $900 or whatever. These tickets are random throughout the venue and fluctuate based on demand just like airline tickets do. There almost certainly will be tickets for a much more reasonable price as the date gets closer.
They are probably ticket scalpers that are scooping up all of the fan to fan drops you mean.

Those loopholes get closed rather quickly.
    Lol no

He underestimates the billion dollar cottage industry behind ticket scalping🙃

I had to laugh when I was heading into Wrigley this year. Saw MULTIPLE old school scalper dudes that you just know were dragged kicking & screaming into the future.

They were scalping but using phones to transfer tickets, TM log-ins, sending pdf's - you name it. Same type of dudes who would've been standing outside a Van Halen show with a fistful of floor seats.

I went to 9 shows in 2024. Three of them I already had GA for, and the other six I used tickets I got the day of show or the day before. Four of those six were through TM drops, two were fans through the forum offering GA.

Yes. I was caught up in your insanity. But it worked out great for both of us!!

    They ALWAYS find a way.
    Like Fast Times....Damone
💯% who I had in the back of my mind 😂
That was my senior year when that came out. I knew quite a few like that....lol

Jazzfest seems to be a lock from what im seeing on the Inforoo boards, Jazzfest boards, and Reddit. I know alllll of those are terrible sources, but they aren't coming here to scream that.... so to me that means where theres smoke, there must be some sort of fire, even if it is a lit joint that bothers people in the crowd  ;)

It must be fun to be a dick towards the asthmatics.

I know, I know. If people have asthma, they should just stay home because your personal freedoms.

Can we take a moment to reflect on, compared to the past like ten years, how rare it’d be for them to announce another tour after only mere weeks of another tour wrapping up (and a lengthy one by their standards.). Nevermind how it’s 34+ years into their careers. Pretty cool.

  • I don't expect a tour announcement until 2025, unless Jazz Fest gets announced in 2024.
Jazz fest almost always announced in January.
Jan 18th last year. 17 or 20th my guess.

I didn't say any of this. Just adding a joke to the end of my comment, which you took a little personal. Totally fine, but the point flew over your head, kinda like smoke and haze usually do at concerts.

    Anyway. Jazzfest?
