    One of my orders was charged $30 shipping and one was charged $15 shipping. Hoping it isn't an error and accounting for the guitar weight!

    Sounds interesting,  what is the weight of the packages,  what city are you in and what size are the mystery packages? You could definitely have some special items for sure, good luck, and keep us all posted.

    Wouldn't that have been charged at the time of order though, vs packing/shipping?

    unless "Special" shipments were tagged at time of purchase, maybe thats how they randomized it.. when the order comes up to be packed, the bag gets one shipping tag and the special item gets the second shipping.. However I believe it's just an error, because it was not said that special items would be charged a second shipping cost. They were clear that all would be charged 5lbs flat rate when most are under that weight and any of the heavier ones would be the same.

    Yeah while as much as I’m sure anyone lucky enough to get one of the grails would pay the extra shipping, they definitely aren’t sticking the extra charge to whoever gets it.

    I'm in Chicago and it has not yet been processed. The first order I made was $30 shipping for 1 box which I thought was high but just said whatever and pulled the trigger. I then decided to get a box for my wife and saw I was only charged $15. It's probably an error, but I'll wait to see...I doubt they'd charge more regardless of what was shipped.

    My brother got the same weight after it was picked up for shipping to Ireland. Wonder if international orders are being updated with the actual weights.
