With that said, I'm certainly not an insider, but I also didn't just get lucky.Post edited by Lost In Ohio onPresidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

I think the important part is it's still too early for solid leaks, but it seems it'll be the south or great lakes (but it could be a bit of both over the course of the year, for all anyone knows.)
If the Great Lakes region gets involved, it could be Cleveland and Detroit up to Milwaukee. No Chicago, for those who would be curious.
I think they'd be stupid not to play Europe.
Earlier on, someone posted how "DM has legs" and that seems to be a credible point. This won't be like Gigaton where it was a short tour (although they couldn't tour until almost two years later.) This could be more like Lightning Bolt.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

Another important thing:
99.99% of people in team front offices don't know anything that isn't already public. The exception is what they know, but obviously can't tell random callers...just like anyone else with their job.
Even if you (the reader here) know something about your job, maybe you've been sworn to secrecy where you can't even tell your family until a certain date.
...I feel like we're about to reach the phase where fans call up ticket reps.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
Here's what I'm thinking:
April/May...Eastern/Northern USA. Think a similar-ish thing to 2016.
June...European cities missed in 2024. Hello again Amsterdam. They love going there and obviously had to miss it in 2024.
After that? It's far too early for me to make dumb guesses, but we know they generally don't tour in cold-weather areas and don't like to tour in October.
UNLESS....they do south in spring and then hit up the Great Lakes after Europe, but I don't think that's the case either.
South America needs some love too. It's been a hot minute.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

I like how Lost in Ohio played this. First gains credibility with reference to a correct past prediction and then makes some new predictions. I’m all in for this type of stuff. And especially if there really are Detroit and Cleveland shows. That would be awesome.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

Some Canadian shows East of Toronto would be nice next year.

I just had a random, 100% uneducated guess to go with some previous crap I posted.
When the hell is Bonaroo?
Edit: June 12-15.
Yeah...not gonna happen. 2016's appearance was probably because Europe didn't, right?
Oh well...fun thought!Post edited by Lost In Ohio onPresidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

The employees...the ticket representatives probably don't know anything.
If/when they do, they're not gonna tell the public. They *may* tell close confidants, but if I call up some FO somewhere and say that I heard a rumor about ______, they're just gonna point me to the website or Ticketmaster.
"Hey, FO representative. I heard you're real close to signing ______ to a new contract. Is this true?"
They're gonna have no comment other than "read the website" or "I've heard similar and I hope so." In other words, a hot bunch of nothing.
And yeah, the employees may occasionally get inside info about "this is about to be announced real soon" but they're not gonna tell anyone. I've known inside info for other things, but could only talk about it with other staff/insiders at those places.
Example: Years ago, I once heard inside info about a coach who was "going to be fired within 2-3 games." I couldn't tell anyone, but I had that hot tip.
In other words, calling up the Pistons/Cubs/Penguins/Saints/Texans FO and asking about "Pearl Jam on ______ 18th" they're gonna say "that's a new one."Post edited by Lost In Ohio onPresidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
