Definitely blowing away Wrigley.darwinstheory said:This setlist is blowing away the rest of the 2nd leg of the tour.0 -
It was definitely louder yesterday but thats really due to the setlist constructionmcgruff10 said:
You thought last nights crowd was the worst pj crowd?! Whaaaat.psubsb12 said:I was at 9.11.22 and thought it was the best PJ crowd I've ever been a part of, and up there with 10.30.09 as my favorite attended PJ show ever.
9.4.24 was the worst PJ crowd and my least favorite.
Pendulum is a great chill song. Not sure its going to get the faithful in a roar like opening the Garden with Garden. The crowd was roaring thru that. It was fun. Not meh.
But I don't think any screen show will ever compare to shows when every seat is occupied there.
In that building, fans behind Matt bring huge energy usually. I missed them the last 2 nites0 -
Totally agree with you. One of the best things about a pj show is it's simplicity; the screen has to go. It's so not pj.Lerxst1992 said:

Completely agree with all of this. Plus, the screen is very distracting. I find myself watching a screen instead of the real thing. A societal problem creeping into to our PJ world...mcgruff10 said:

That I've seen in person, yeah. Just didn't feel the energy other than during Black and Given to Fly. But I also think the set list construction had something to do with it. Then again, I didn't like the set list.mcgruff10 said:

Been at every MSG show since 2010 and agree - 22 Release opener was an absolute explosion of energy (and Covid for me and my wife lol).merlin401 said:This set list was better than MSG2022 but I do think the energy from 2022 was just on another level. I have rarely heard msg so loud (maybe during that crazy betterman applause in 2010)
of course it’s impossible to pick. Yesterday is the only time I was lucky enough to be in the pit so that was unique. Once you have gone to a lot of shows, it’s more than just the set or the show it’s also about other unique things: who you met, where your seats were, who you danced with etc
But I still remember the Betterman from 2010 and I still get goosebumps - that’s after 1,000s of shows over 45 years. It was a pretty spiritual moment and I was pretty sober compared to the 50 or so Grateful Dead shows I’ve seen 😂"Hey, listen asshole, one more fucker throws a fuckin' quarter up here and we're outta here, I'm tellin' ya, FUCKER! What the fuck, you're blowin' it for fuckin' everybody. Hit me with a fuckin' quarter again and, fuck it, I'm outta here. We're all outta here. Fuck you, and if anyone sees someone throw fuckin' change right next to them, you have my permission to beat the fuckin' holy shit outta them."0
