a week later alot of premiums still available for MSG.  Good to see fans holding out for lower prices and better seats.

U504. The event extras got in the way!
Those event extras are annoying and make the clicks for Baltimore a little different than the other shows. I actually did a few practice runs with Baltimore specifically to get used to the slightly different clicks, and I’d recommend that everyone else trying for Baltimore do the same. That split second might make the difference- that might’ve been the difference maker in me getting that GA (or not- who knows).

Seems like these could've gone to 10C members, rather than drop today for Premium?

These WILL drop to face by the 28th, or the next morning, btw.

    Just frustrating, is all...

Not surprising in the least bit, but still very disappointing. Don’t buy premium!

Are they shutting down f2f 10 days before this show too? That would screw anyone looking to upgrade.
Unclear, but Wrigley is transferable so fan to fan isn’t required to make a sale.
    Good to hear. thanks!

To be fair, the band's mgmt is complicit too.

Robert Smith told us all: "Platinum [Premium] is a choice."

People blaming Ticketmaster really need to get their head out of the sand.
Ticketmaster is a partner to the band and their management.

We’ve seen for a couple tours now how this game works - patience pays off.  Better, less expensive tickets keep appearing as the show gets closer.  Stop crying about, “ticketmaster found more tickets.”  At this point if you get suckered into premiums at the initial on sale, shame on you.

100%. It's never been perfect, but selling out the whole arena/stadium at one set price after X% of 10C seats were allocated was going along nicely for many, many years (and I acknowledge that there were still complaints).

I agree.  It’s really clear how it works at this point.  Most people like the certainty for planning purposes and it probably is worth a little extra to secure things in advance.  But for those who can shift on the fly, 9 times out of 10 it will work out well.

If anyone would rather not wait for TM to drop those premium prices to face value the day before the show, I have a pair available, for face value of course.

    Wrigley N1
    Sec 126, Row 2 - aisle seats.
    $381.50

Can direct transfer.  Acquired from another fan here, but I was able to upgrade, so hoping to get them to someone here.  DM if interested.

I think it depends. If FV is $185 and there are excellent premium seats for $225, I think it’s justifiable to buy those for peace of mind/getting back all the extra time not wasted on searching for tickets.

I’ll be honest. I’m really tempted for Philly 2 at $340 aisle or $287 middle of a row so I can stop searching for that show.

Not to worry - no tears were shed. Was making light of (hence the ha) that TM continues to play games with the manner in which they sell/release tickets for their shows. Personally, I'm a long-standing believer in the last minute ticket purchase.
