I hate to be the dragsville on this, but I just think it's pretty good. It does not compare to a WS record for me. What I loved about prime WS is the way Jack flowed through heavy stuff, but then would drop a Same Boy, Cause and Effect, Yorba, Martyr for my Love. To me, these are the great, great WS songs and there is really nothing like that on the unnamed. The last song on B is the only one that I thought would get there, but it turned into a driving rock song as well.
Don't get me wrong, it's better than Boarding House and Fear. But I even like Lazaretto and definitely Blunderbuss better. I like when he tones it down a bit. That's where he is best to me.0 -

mrussel1 said:Yes, if hard-driving JW is your favorite kind, this is for you. I like the groove-oriented (like the Racs) as well as the countrified. In fact, I think he's great at country.jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

mrussel1 said:I loathe country as well, specifically modern country. But I love country-rock, like CSNY, NY, Grateful Dead and even the Eagles. That late 60's Canyon sound is one of my favorites. That's the class I put in Jack in. Not true country, but country-rock.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0
