    I am with you that I love the tagged version much more than this new solo one.  State College 03 may be the best all time tagged version.

    Don’t love the cover, it’s just ok.  It does fit well in the way they used it on the show though.  The English Beats version is so good to me that all attempts to cover the song have whiffed IMO.  

    I do love the tag at the end of BM though…adds a fun singalong and empowerment aspect to an otherwise dreary song.

    My wife and I somehow got thru season three but boy was it awful.  Literally nothing happened.

    I can't really tell you what the plot of Singles is, but I can tell you that movie had a killer soundtrack.

    I'm not going to start a separate thread for this, but the song moves up from No. 47 to No. 34 in its second week on Billboard's Rock and Alternative Airplay chart for the week ending July 27, 2024.

    On Rock Digital Song Sales, it is at No. 12, down from No. 5 in its third week after debuting at No. 3.
