Trump VP Pick

Normal people don’t call Trump Hitler and a threat to Democracy and then publicly state they wish him a speedy recovery from an assassination either. The Juggler said:I love the attempt to spin it by saying "I was wrong, he was actually a great president."
No.
If Trump was normal, Vance's past criticisms would have been about his polices. Instead Trump is a garbage human being. JD Vance was correct when he was speaking his mind. He only changed his tune when he wanted you to vote for him...and now look where all the sucking up has gotten him.
A normal political party doesn't go from calling someone "hitler" to then nominating him to be president. Cults do that.I’m sure back in 1945 everyone hoped Hitler would make a speedy recovery too.
And by the way, I’m not spinning it that way, I just see the Republicans spinning it that way.Post edited by Kat on0 -
I think JD Vance's young age will be quite attractive to millenials. He'll be just 40 years old when he and President Trump are elected this Nov. and second only to JFK as the youngest U.S. president, should he be elected in 2028.teskeinc said:Does the VP even matter? Harris was picked because of her gender/race. Appointed “Border Czar” and supervised the largest influx of illegal immigration. Hated by her staff and reason why Biden won’t be replaced as nominee.Did Mike Pence really do anything under Trump before? We know Biden did little to nothing under Obama.
Its just a face, a name, 1 VP debate and hoping to gain votes in the region or demographic where they’re from.Democrats will complain whoever it was. The unhinged Democrats will be hysterical over Vance like it’s the end of Democracy again, but would be hysterical regardless. Republican Trump backers will agree “great pick” whether who it is what they wanted or not.
I don’t think Vance moves the needle much either way.0 -
People questioning if VP matters when both candidates are so old they could die tonight and one was already shot at.hippiemom = goodness0

Yeah, I can hardly wait! Either July 23 or August 13 will be the date. I hope Kammie brings a big bottle of salad dressing!lindamarie73 said:

Why not? Are you under the assumption that half the country wants Trump dead? We just want him nowhere near the White House...like his running mate wished, as well, 8 years ago.teskeinc said:

JD thinks “the childless left” are to blame for America’s woes. And that marriage should stay in tact even in cases of domestic violence.Yikes to this goof.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

VanceA borderline personality (aka "suck-spitter") for VP. That should be a hoot! I hate you! I love you! I hate you! I love you!

he can't lower himself to unite the party by choosing someone that actually beat him in some primaries. many of her supporters are never trumpers. had he named her it would have made victory much more likely. The Juggler said:

instead he chose another white dude that is anti choice and feels that women need to stay in abusive marriages for the good of the kids. you know, the republican way. so trump is getting nothing that will help to make him more attractive outside of joe maga."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln
