    My bet would have been Vance…unsure if he tweet after the assassination attempt would make him more likely or remove him from the list…depends on what type of show Trump wants to put in this last 5 months. 

    If he is smart, he picks Haley. He plays to the cooling down of the rhetoric. He wins then and sets up GOP well for 2028.

    I mean, I would like to see a cooling of rhetoric. I don't think he's writing his social media posts right now. I also don't think that his team is using "unifying" in the same way that I would use it.

    I would prefer Rubio as the VP pick, or Haley, because I believe that, despite their lack of spine and courage, deep inside they know right from wrong and would govern as "normie" Republicans if thrust into the White House. Vance has the cruel streak that MAGA seems to find appealing; he worries me -- that's why I think he'll be the choice.

    Yeah Vance seems nazi enough but I think they will go for Hispanic or female vote with Rubio, maybe Haley.

    But I agree, at this point I wouldn't worry too much about a Rubio or Haley presidency. They act like magats but would be safe leaders.
