Why no love for Got to Give at these shows?

Any ideas why Got to Give has only appeared once on the first leg?

This song is awesome, and has the chance to be a fantastic live jam.  My fav on DM.
Hoping they break it out at Wrigley1...

I'm crossing my fingers in the hope of hearing it tomorrow night. I think it's a standout track from the album.

It's make Vancouver fans feel a little better about not getting Waiting for Stevie :)

I’m going on Thurs and fully expect Stevie not to be played just to keep me from seeing the whole album 😆

I’d def prefer these to React, Respond or Running. But honestly, just can’t wait for September for shows!

Well, I did end up getting Stevie! It was great but I still left the last show of the leg feeling like Upper Hand is the best live track from Dark Matter.

I actually think it’s the worst song on the album.  Personal opinion.

"Got to Give" and "Won't Tell" are my two favorite songs on the album, but both of the songs you named were absolutely tremendous live. In particular, the live performances of "React, Respond" elevated my opinion of the song. And "Running" was two minutes of boisterous energy every time, with the moment where it kicks back in after the bridge being a nightly high point.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

I could see Running being very fun live. I actually really like the music, especially the bridge, but I really don’t like the lyrics.

React, Respond just doesn’t do it for me, especially the chorus. But, hopefully when I hear it live it will also raise my opinion of the song.

For me Got to Give us the most straight out "I never thought I'd hear Pearl Jam like this again" song. It is full on Yield. I'm even tempted to say it's better than In Hiding. Controversial I know. The outro SOARS. HIGH. I just rocked it loud after work on the way home (driving through the Chiltern hills) as Ed shouts "somethings gotta give"...3 hours after the cancellation.

Spot on!  Same thoughts here.  I find myself rockin out to the ending, belting out "somethings got to give" while getting lost in the full-on jam by the band.  So much potential for this one live.  Here's hoping it starts finding its way into some setlists.
