    Um… that sounds like a lot. I’ve got too much stuff going on to chase him down… my 9 year old son is 4 years in remissIon from cancer and I’ve been diagnosed with PTSD from earlier traumas in my life. Trust me, Ed wants no part of me. I just want to go enjoy his artistry and hope he plays Breath… it resonated in 1992 when it was released, and resonates now

    Funny how back then we saw bands as ourselves. Maybe a little starstruck but never really cared. Not sure how or when superstardom kicks in and we elevate band members like they are gods. Just interesting and weird what happens.
    Now I flip out if I get handed a pick! (or find one in a pile of junk on the floor)

    Can't believe I just saw this post for the first time.  I LOVE SHIT LIKE THIS.  What a cool story.  My all-time fav is Pete Townsend and I've written to him a few times over the years and he always sends something in response.  I even have a Christmas card from him.  Cherish these items.  They're just regular people like us but the joy they bring us through their music makes them super humans indeed!!  LOVE THIS STORY.  This just made my night after a harrowing workday.  Thank you for sharing.  Awesome.
