Very difficult to rank for me, but I would go
1. Release
2. Indifference
3. Immortality
4. Parting Ways
5. Setting Sun
6. All Those Yesterdays
7. Inside Job
Those 7 are songs I listen to all the time while the following fall off for me. River Cross sounds awesome live though.
8. Future Days
9. River Cross
10. The End
11. Around the bend
12. All or None

Although I understand this stance, we‘re getting into the shaky territory of what constitutes a song. In the context of mainstream rock, it might make sense to leave it out, but the lines are definitely blurry even regarding PJ. Does Red Bar count as a song? Does there have to be at least a chord change (Push Me, Pull Me / Arc)? Etc.Niko80 said:I count immortality. In this context it is the last song, even if it doesn't close the album.0 -
Either way, it‘s definitely the last track / recording of the record, so I’m counting it:
1. Around The Bend *****2. Indifference *****3. Parting Ways *****4. Setting Sun ****1/25. All Those Yesterdays ****1/26. All or None ****1/27. Release ****1/2
8. Inside Job ****1/2
9. The End ***1/210. River Cross ***1/211. Future Days **1/212. Stupid Mop **Edit: Added starsPost edited by HenriettaLowell on0 -
Release, All Those Yesterdays, and Setting Sun are top three. Release is my all time favorite song so that’s an easy one for me.0

Does Master/Slave count as last track on Ten??0

Hummus is a banger! :rock_on: But I would just consider that a bonus feature of All Those Yesterdays, which is a very fine track by itself, it just gets enhanced by having Hummus follow.mcgruff10 said:

Immortality might not be the last track but it is most definitely the closer imo.Planet of Sound said:Actually the closers are all decent at least, but roughly…

Immortality is such a beautiful and amazing song, and it sits well as an album closer, and also as a standalone track. But it seems like Stupid Mop is an extension of the song, and the true intended album closer based on feeling. As if the listener has fell thru the trap door in the Sun. Vitalogy is such a cool album.PJNB said:

2010: Newark 5/18 MSG 5/20-21 2011: PJ20 9/3-4 2012: Made In America 9/2
2013: Brooklyn 10/18-19 Philly 10/21-22 Hartford 10/25 2014: ACL10/12
2015: NYC 9/23 2016: Tampa 4/11 Philly 4/28-29 MSG 5/1-2 Fenway 8/5+8/7

Then they should just rank Retrograde. That’s how Immortality ended up on these lists even though it doesn’t close an albumJohnny Abruzzo said:Wow people really don't like River Cross.0
