What is the name of the softball team Jerry plays for in "The Pony Remark"?
Friends of Clyde! I’ve always remembered that because I’m a Knicks fan so in my mind the shirt refers to Walt Clyde Frazier 😂
What is the name of the softball team Jerry plays for in “The Understudy”? (The Bette Midler episode)
Improv
From that same episode…after George takes out Bette Midler, a teammate of hers threatens George saying something like “You’re gonna pay for this.” The actor that plays that teammate shows up briefly in a later episode. Which episode, and what does he say his job title is?

George Hamilton’s personal assistant in “The Wig Master”.
Just a couple of guys sitting around, laughing and drinking champagne coolies.

It’s very emasculating!
Mad TV for the other question. He was good and I liked that show. Usually would catch the first half hour before SNL. And even stick with it if SNL wasn’t good.
Tried Unfrosted....nope. I couldn't finish it. Was hoping to like it but pretty much hated it, unfortunately.
Yeah that seems to be majority opinion. I'd still recommend skipping ahead to the funeral scene if you didn't get that far. Now...if you hated the movie to the point that you quit on it, you'll probably hate the funeral scene too because the funeral scene is everything about this movie rolled into one scene. And the scene comes off like something Jerry came up with when he was 14-years-old. But I still liked it.

The funeral scene was kind of funny actually. I finished it. I guess if you go in thinking it's meant to be basically a light hearted kids comedy...it's not so bad. My nephews would probably like it.

Yeah it’s more a cartoon come-to-life than it is a “proper” movie. But there’s a few rewatchable scenes. The funeral, the cereal awards, the Mad Men pitch, the Jan. 6th parody, any Hugh Grant scene. I can’t fault Jerry’s effort, even if he didn’t exactly hit the bullseye.
Here’s an interesting tidbit, he’s been thinking about this premise as far back as 2013 when he pitched it to Howard Stern….
