    I was surprised that the visuals on the bluray are all just the Dark Matter main image on repeat. It's cool and all, I'm here for the music but I was expecting the same visuals as the streaming ones.

    It's just great to revel in another batch of songs from these legends. Mine shipped out of WA on Thursday morning I think. Went to NJ then here to PA local post office. I went to pick it up after work as it would've stayed there until late tomorrow. Hope you get yours early!

    Lameee. I was trying to figure out how to put on the lyric version. Blu-ray sounds so much better than the YouTube official visualizers.

    So we have files on there as LPCM at 48khz and TrueHD at 48khz, are we assuming LPCM is 16/48 and TrueHD is 24/48, both lossless?

    I'm reading mixed answers on how exactly this works. Does ATMOS work on two channel stereo? The first time I listened to the Blu-ray, I had it on ATMOS and it sounded fantastic, but it also seemed to be missing something. LPCM sounded fuller but muddy

    I’m in process of ripping audio streams to flac. I think worry though with atmos would be unless you specifically demux it to two channel (from 8!) with correct software whatever transcoder is operating will select 2 channels for you and maybe not correctly. I ripped the Blu-ray to Plex and just punched it up on the phone for kicks and scared of fear had no guitar in the chorus just Jeff’s bass which was fun but obviously not correct! 

    Also came up with instrumental to wreckage on the Blu-ray rip which sounds fantastic. There is a ton of stuff going on there behind the vocal.

    I bought the Dark Matter instrumental single and loved it! I would love to hear the entire album this way.

    Agree completely, there’s a lot going on in these songs- and I love the acapella vocal intro to dark matter on the single!

    Does the delux blu ray or CD have an extended version of the album into?   I was hoping this would be a bit longer, or like Master/Slave, have an extended ending.

    Unfortunately the LPCM is as you'd expect the same atrocious mastering found everywhere else for the stereo mix, whether that's Spotify, Apple, Qobuz, HDTracks, Pro Studio Masters, CD, whatever.

    Thankfully the TrueHD/Atmos track is night and day from the stereo, not only is it beautifully mastered with more dynamics than even Ten originally had in 1991, but the mix is really well done too! And we don't have to suffer a fidelity loss by going to streaming DD+/Atmos, such a thrill to finally get an audiophile release of a Pearl Jam album after so many years of loudness wars vinyl and CD/digital offerings.
