same....I Got ID is my absolute favorite PJ song...some would argue it's not PJ but whatevstbergs said:Those first few lyrics to Waiting for Stevie are so powerful to me. Just hits home so hard in the context of life at this point. Beautiful, sad and profound all in one.
Edit: Lyrics and music from them hasn't hit this hard since I Got ID, which is probably one of my all time favorites.
Totally agree on the lyrics...I thought the same thingRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I'm showing my age but does anyone hear Michael Hutchence-sque vocal cadence (the one thing) in the verses of React / Respond?Post edited by bobasfeet on0

React, RespondLooks like I'm in the minority on this, but after 3 listens, this one is floating to the top for me.

Yeah, it's tough to pick so this early. But I agree with you on these.Vedd Hedd said:This was tough. Wanted to put Waiting for Stevie. It might be that eventually, especially live. I went with React, Respond for now. But SOF, UH, WT...need to hear them more, and live, to really judge.1998: Noblesville, IN 08-172000: Noblesville, IN 08-182003: Noblesville, IN 06-222006: Cincinnati, OH 06-242010: Noblesville, IN 05-072016: Lexington, KY 04-26, Wrigley Field 2 08-222018: Wrigley Field 1 08-18, Wrigley Field 2 08-202022: St. Louis, MO 09-182024: Noblesville, IN 08-26, Wrigley Field 1 08-29, Wrigley Field 2 08-31

What is it, 5 songs pulling at least 10% of the vote? That’s not too shabby and not including Dark Matter.BSully said:Looks like I'm in the minority on this, but after 3 listens, this one is floating to the top for me.

Now that I've sat with the album after a few spins, I agree that Got To Give does rock. I love the whole track, and it's placement is refreshing with a nice uplifting boost before the beautiful Setting Sun closes it out. Then on repeat, even Setting Sun flows so nicely in to Scared of Fear. I'm just spinning Dark Matter all day on repeat, no skips and it feels great.Jdub5521 said:I'm spinning, oh-oh-oh I'm spinning0

I like the ending to React Respond and parts here and there but it overall give me vibes of My Father's Son which I don't like.0

Scared of FearI went with Scared of Fear, but could have easily voted for Wreckage, Stevie, or Setting Sun. Really, just about every song except one has something special that I love. Very good album.0
