The not updated shipping info could still be a UPS thing or even a purpose blind ship by them. Both are possible. I have managed a warehouse for almost 12 years now and this is more frequently happens with bulk shipments like this. It happens much more often with USPS but UPS is far from perfect.  There is some hope
I feel like it probably did ship already.  The status on the main order page says shipped but when you try to go into the tracking it looks like nothing happened for 2 weeks.

It says shipped because according to the computer it did ship when they printed the label.  Until we have movement on the tracking, it has not actually shipped.

Could there have been a QC issue with them and that's why we don't have movement yet?  Seems weird they would wait this long to get them in the hands of UPS.

more likely to be mail innovations not updating tracking information than a quality control issue with the product

I’ll be pretty pissed if vinyl doesn’t arrive on time. There’s no excuse for not getting these in our hands for release day.

    Agreed, I'll never pre-order again.

IF they don't get here at least on Friday, I would wonder what the point is. Especially when they dropped 12 other variants after the fact. theres no incentive to preorder with so many other options

This. That is simply how their system displays it once that process is finished. The boxes could still be sitting there labeled waiting for pickup.

From what I have been told in the past with mail innovations is because it is a bulk shipment, if the master tracking is not scanned at pickup it will not update until it gets to the destination facility for delivery.  It is annoying when this happens because people usually think packages are lost but I'm actually hoping this is the case.

Demetrios just posted some of the ebay pics on Twix. Looks like similar packages to the annual boot

Especially since we paid an extra $5 or so premium for the 10C variant.
If they aren’t gonna arrive on time they should email download codes.

I said this after Gigaton, which I didn't get my pre-order to me for 3 weeks after release. But here I am again, hoping for a different outcome but knowing I'll end up having to find a copy to listen to until it arrives. It's shameful and it's not just limited to PJ these days.

second time pre-ordering a vinyl first time with PJ- usually just snag a copy on amazon way cheaper a few months down the road...

When I pre-ordered Metallica 72 seasons i actually got it a day early. disappointed it's not even going to get in on time.

No harm in letting 10c pre-orders get in a day or 2 early considering the album has been heard by anyone who cared enough to hear it between Sunday and Today's listening parties.

I would personally be willing to let Gigaton slide since the world imploded at the same time.

But everyone who ordered DM on 2/13 should have it by Friday or that is crazy

Unfortunately, I think that if anyone actually believes the vinyl will arrive on their doorstep in 72 hours, they will be disappointed. No one's shipping appears to have moved, no word from 10c, not happening. We will get a post soon that they just arrived and will begin shipping by the end of the week. At least there are 500 other variants to go purchase on release day.

vinyl is never the way i listen to something first so it doesn't really matter to me but i know it's annoying to many and we keep falling for this release after release.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
