I know beets are good for me. And twice a year I go for the most cliched beet dish.......roasted beets with salad, goat cheese, walnuts and dried cranberries.0

been doing noodles lately. Feed me all week on the cheap. Sautéed onions garlic. Red peps. Broc. Some mad crispy bacon. Butter. Yum.

Took Client out in Vegas on Monday night.
Look at these frigging prices. -- I did not order the $265 steak, but I did laugh at it.
(I did enjoy a very good steak, just not that one.)

I will not pay those prices in the US. But $400 Teppanyaki on the top floor of a hotel in Japan. Hell yes.0

It is a Japan thing. We are talking A5 wagyu. And it is a set meal, not just the steak. Amuse, salad, appetizer, garlic rice, dessert etc.
Edit: the biggest scam in the US is Australian or US Wagyu. It is not even close to the real deal.Post edited by Get_Right on0 -

I love them pickled too! And sometimes I make a salad, with raw diced beets, an apple, horseradish, sour cream, some olive oil, salt and pepper. Your fajitas looked amazing too!
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
