Was just wondering where is everyone staying for the shows? Looking for some recommendations. Thanks

There’s a million hotels and they’re all a million bucks that week it seems.  Any place you can get for under $300 and looks half decent would be a find at this point.  Especially the Saturday night is really expensive.

I’m not going this time, but I’ve stayed at the Luxor and Excalibur. They were fine. Expensive, but maybe on the cheaper end of the strip? Way too much money for the rooms, though. Been to big chain hotels that have nicer rooms.

MGM properties can now be booked with Marriott points. The rates are pretty out of wack that weekend though. I plan to keep checking - I bet there will be deals closer to the shows, much like tickets

The rates at the link posted by fsu are not bad at all.  However they do require a non refundable deposit it would appear.

My experience has taught me that a ticket to a PJ show is only a ticket to a concert if the concert happens.  3 times it has happened to me where it has not.

I've been to Vegas a bunch of times. My rankings:

    Cosmopolitan
    Bellagio
    Venetian
    Aria
MGM (a while ago, I think it's been renovated since)
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

You can get a suite at this place and walk to the concert. I don't confirm if it is good or not. There is nothing else around, in case you are looking to avoid the strip and casinos.

I love the Flamingo. The location is the best of any hotel I've stayed at on the strip

Park MGM is nice with good food options and it’s non-smoking if you prefer.

What are your priorities? Price or distance? On the Strip, off the strip or Downtown? These are within a 10-25 minute walk to the MGM Garden
    High end: Bellagio, Aria, Cosmopolitan
High Mid Tier: Casears, Planet Hollywood, Paris, Horseshoe, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM
Mid Mid Tier: Harrah's, The Flamingo, Linqu
Low Mid Tier: Best Western Casio Royal
    Budget: Excalibur and Luxor.

I visit Vegas infrequently but the Mid Mid tier have all been fine for me.

Made that mistake the first time I went to Vegas in my early 20s.  What a dump.  Staying at The Linq for these shows.  Nice location middle of the strip

No problem. Just remember when you see a rate I can almost guarantee it will not include the resort fee which runs $40-$60 a day (and of course tax). Another tip would be to sign up for the member's club at MGM and Casears. It's free and you will get the lowest rates available to the general public. Rates that will not show up if you don't sign up and log in. I'm going later this year to see the Killers. It's a slow period but with the member's rate I'm paying $8.00 + $50 resort fee + tax. You won't get that during that week in May because of other events but you should same $20-$30 a night and they will give you like $10 buck of free play at the casino.

Resort fees are even worse than ticket service fees.

When I went a month ago to see U2, one of the nights (Sunday night 2/4) the hotel room was $22.50 with a $45.30 resort fee.
Ticketmaster would love that kind of percentage for its bone fees.
